Thanks for posting. This excerpt shows what was a common scene following most battles throughout history. The dead (and often the wounded and captured) were stripped naked and thrown into pits. No one wanted to waste boots, armor or clothing,so other soldiers or peasants would strip the dead naked as soon as possible.
