the thing about belly fat is that it is hormonal. You can burn it off with hard work but it is an uphill battle unless you address estrogens in your diet and the conversion of testosterone to estrogen in the body.
your inspirational. I have a question, I am over weight, I was just curiouse if a 3 minuit jog, 1 minuit sprint, 1 minuit walk over and over for 45 minuits would be beneficial to me. its an interval workout i love, and im really tired by the end.
I don't think it's necessarily WHAT you eat, it's how much of each type of foods you eat. In other words, portion control, and extreme portion control for simple carbs.
There is no such thing as targeting certain areas to lose fat. So how do you lose belly fat? The same thing you do to lose fat in every other area of your body. Your body chooses where it burns fat. Unfortunately the last place it chooses is usually in the belly for men and ass for women.
u talk about calorie burning.. thats not the way!! Balancing hormones is the way! Killing yourself at the gym is working against your body.. Calories r energy.. Calories in vs out does not work.. our body is not a calculator..

hey, alot of these people want to lose body fat and your telling them to do high intensity interval training.... But what if you dont want to burn the muscle that you already have? I weigh 175 at 5'8'' with 11% BF. I was told that i shouldn't go over a heart rate of 135 or i'll start burning muscle. Do u have any advice?

I used to hate training, but my tip is that I took up an interest in nature which I enjoyed, this got me outside and into a routine, after a lot of walking I began jogging and sprints in the woods, still keeping n eye on nature and forgetting I was running.
Now I love running and my appreciation for nature has also greatly improved my diet, realising fresh food tastes 100 times better than processed.
that whole low intensity vs high intensity in the end comes down to on simple thing "whats your goal" HIIT will have a better effect but will deplete glycogen which may not be desirable for someone like a bodybuilder, or medical conditions preventing that level of intensity.
there is no one is better than the other its just whats your goal, but most people will fall under HIIT.
My formula for six pack abs= play basketball for about two hours, then total body workout for 30 min. Eat fresh fruits, nuts, orange juice, and turkey sandwiches on honey oat bread. Simple. peace
