PS the 58mm Webers are junk and though period correct, not worth the effort to try and get them to run....45mm WEbers on a Moon cross ram intake are thh eonly way to go...
I had thhe opp to buy George's car in the mid 70's for $3500-, no engine and on a trailer. Instead I bought the '64 Corvette XX Coupe for the same money. Direct from a GM engineer at the GM Tech Center. Even managed to snag the GM plates with it. Last I saw, it was owned by two brothers in PHX who were kind enough to do a prof static shoot and send me a copy fo the 8X10....wonder where it is today?

The hood is wrong for a Wintersteen replica. And didn't he run a 427?

All you need is a real Grand Sport Engine Intake, I have one and will be putting it on Ebay this Weekend.
