@grasscutter88 luckily for me, this section is freshly paved and all the bridges go above the highway so i havent had anything to worry about. In the case that there was something in the road, these plows have a "trip" feature, which enables the plow to fold forward over the obstruction. They are spring loaded.
That truck is just to freaking sweet at night! You are right, you need an inturn to get some drive by shots, with the plowin and the lights a blinking and the... everything else!
Andrew, I got 24 inches here in CT. and some towns got 30 inches. I could have used that Autocar on my driveway. I see Jay got some pretty good footage.....maybe it was all that rest he got! It looked like he was at the Sheraton in that sleeper. Looks like project 85 is running strong and all the prep work is paying off. Soon there will be a fleet of ATK trucks on the MASS Highways............
@ImARoadhammer yeah the storm hit the entire northeast hard!! Autocar would have had your driveway done in about 2 mins haha. Jay got plenty of rest, i think I may have fallen asleep for a total of 40 mins and that wasnt till about 4pm on Wednesday. I would have liked to have filmed Episode 2 this time around, but found it to be difficult due to low visibilty, fast accumulating snow and lack of energy. Im trying to find an intern to ride along and do the filming....we shall see.

Looks like it was nasty for you guys too. When I went to work I could hardly see the end of my hood! The old girl sounds good pushin the snow. Hopefully there will be mroe big storms for ya

I still think you should put a dump box on that bad boy!! I was out snow plowing myself last night and most of the day. Now mind you I wasn't in a plow truck...just a Case farm tractor with a blade on it...uploading the video of it now.

@TruckerATK By the time it finally stopped snowing...I would imagine we got at least 7-8 inches of snow...maybe even more. As far as the dump box goes...with all that great money you are making...go to a Ritchie Bros auction...most times you can get a dump box pretty cheap.
yea i went out at 3:30 in the a.m to strat plowing the lots that i have and i could't see anything. My dad and brother gut called in at 1:00 to plow rt3 and didn't get done till 9:00
looks fun. is plowing hard on a drivetrain? gimme a shout if you expand your fleet and need more drivers, haha.

@TruckerATK Not fully paved. In the spring the state is Repaving the section through waltham as well a installing a median barrier.
