I also have high expectations for the movie and yes, the person who plays Mel/Wanda has to be a great actress so I hope they'll chose someone who has that range but when it comes to Jared I think Jensen would be perfect for the role because he's an amazing actor and also fits to the way character was supposed to look according to the book.
