I left malaysia 20 years ago... I go back every 2 years or so... and I cried for the change. My childhood quaint little cosy towns and neighborhood were gone. Instead a humid dusty, smog and artificial beauty of concrete and steel had taken place with congested traffic in searing heat. I stayed in Kona Hawaii for a long time, and I remembered that was how Malaysia was.. peaceful, serene. laid back. Greedy politicians and their croonies had raped the country and whatever character that was left.
