  • sounds like an air raid siren . :P

  • It sounds like my juicer machine

  • You should use brushless motors, they like high rpm and are quiet :)

  • hi its a nice work. can you please mail me/ tell me how you made that skirt?

  • ITTTSSS AAA BIIITTTT LOOOUUUUDDD!!!!!!!!

  • If You have any problem with your hovercraft, use reset.

You have one. Next to door :)

BTW great project. I'm thinking about hovercraft but not RC :) Real hovercraft will be nice toy for big boy :D

  • grat ez jó lett, a szoknya mien anyagból van ?

  • if it's hover. take it to a water run

  • your parents are probably pissed off with that thing... hahaha sounds like a leaf blower. but very nice man. props

  • Sweeeeeeeeet!

  • I built an rc hovercraft for a school project, watch it on my channel...

  • Where did you find the lift motor?

    Have you a link?

  • VERY nice !

Does it go forward too ?

  • @IllegalMavamaarten watch my second vid ;) There it goes forward

  • what type of fan are u using to fill the skirt?

  • Its an normal airscrew with 3 wings.

  • nice

  • u mean like 60% cuase someone ealse made the metal and electriconics

  • and the nature made the wood ... so i just made 10% :P

  • @noahbro123 electriconics?... that's a fancy word for a smart ass!

  • @HellGoodDoogz And you are replying 2 years later? That's cool, yeah, you don't need a life at all.

  • @noahbro123 Oh yeh, good thinking Einstein... haven't looked at the video until a week or so ago... geez ur a dumbass!

  • @HellGoodDoogz A normal person wouldn't bother replying to a 2 year old comment, what are you, 10?

  • @noahbro123 Ya know what... ya just made a smart ass comment... and that determined who you are as a person... had nothing to do with a date in time... so i thought i'd try piss you off, because...... I LIKE DOING THAT!....... :) ... and clearly it worked! So eat a dick bro!

  • @HellGoodDoogz So you are just a troll, who therefore needs a life.

  • wow and how old are you there

    you look like 12-13!!!!!!!!!!

  • Well now I am 18 but back then I was about 13, as you said. My father helped me every once in a while. I have to admit, without him I hadn't been able to build it like this. :)

  • Did you need some project to do that?

  • It is an was my first Hovercraft ... :)

  • nice, can you steer it?

  • Shure, watch me second vid ;)

  • Very nice! Whats the cost of one of these mate? Will it go on grass? 5* mate

  • $110 US

    plus radio

  • hey man you did a beautiful job im getting one of these for my science fair im gonna make a response so you can see how i did

  • cool :)

  • just watch my second hovercraft vid dumbass

  • stand on it

  • how do you make the rubber skirt, or where can you buy them?

  • there not really rubber most of the time, Now people use the material from water proof coats

  • what did you use for the air current?

  • what engine ? ... graupner speed 600 race ... @ 8.4 v

  • Fantastic!, great job man looks awesome =)

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

  • have been trying to make a hovercraft using nitro engines with a electric fan for the skirt... still having issues working it with the 6 channel reicever i have..

anywho i would love to own a nice eltric one. dont have the time to do it since my times concentrated around the nitro one.

wanna make some cash for a replica of that?

    Smitty

  • sos un cra loco 5 estrellas five stars

eso si que es tener actitud

  • Great work, it "flows" so smooth - guess next step is to control the tail-rotor...

What motor are you using to produce the "air-madress" - brushless?

  • Sorry - forget my Q :) Found the A in the thread...

  • It goes up, it goes down....

  • man , u can bilt , but the money to built iz the money of and hovercraft like this

  • My hovercraft is full of eels.

    (Monty Python reference)

  • This kit can be bought for $99, I'm taking it under serious consideration because it seems to be great value for money.

  • sorry, but that is no kit ^^ 100% self-made

  • where do you get the air cushion for the hovercraft?

  • hi, the air cushion is self made. the cloth i used for the skirt is the same that is used for paragliders

  • thanks. The material for the paragliders seems expensive... I think i'll try to find an alternative or put my hovercraft in a tub and pilot it as a boat.

  • bs.

    .

  • Nice work

  • cool, but in my opinion functionality first.

don't worry about the aesthetics, it looks like you've done a clean job so far.

  • great

  • Real sweet dude! I'd definately want one!

  • get some water

  • cool

  • oh gee that wasgood wasnt it not thats a peice of shit

  • try some punctuation

  • Pretty cool

  • what motor du you use ???

  • graupner speed 600

  • that for the lift part not for the aceleration ok???

  • hi, im using 2 speed 600 in the hovercraft,m one to hover and the other one to go forward ...

  • hi i'd like to know what type of cloth u're using to hover

  • hi, is the cloth of paragliders ore kites ...

  • lucky little bitch

  • nice hovercraft seeing that you built it ur self good job 10/10

  • Awesome craft.

  • what did you use to inflate the bottum thing

  • hi, the air bag is fixed at the deck on the upside and at the downside it is fixed about 10 cm lower than the deck and 10cm more inner. betweet that 10cm there is a hole where the motor pulls the air in, thats how the bag is blown up. i hope i can upload the new video in the next days, its incredible !!

... sry for my bad english

  • ok but what kind of fan or motor did you infate it with.

  • nice model, can you please show the underside of it.. I mean I dont get the hovercraft thingy yet? is it just a fan blowing into the under side or is it Corell typ?

  • hey can you help me....whats the material for the blach stuff from your hovercraft?

  • blach stuff ? what do you mean with that ?

du bist doch auch aus deutschland oder ... ^^

  • damn thats a big one i got a smaller hovercraft its awesome my is more like the sportie ones xD

  • cool :)

i just made new video of my hovercraft hovering on th street, its so cool, i'll put it in youtube soon.

  • awsome but you have to teach me!!!

  • so loud

    lol

    cool tho

  • Awsome - Im currently building my selft one of these - its a bit smaller though about one foot. mine comes in a kit - $150 for motors and the body - which comes as a sheet of vacuum formed plastic so the peices just need cutting out - great things these are.

  • Put some helium in the air filled thing :)

  • I like the video!

    Hovercrafts r so cool

    Check out this

    Hovercraft Competition it edited

    its just a 1:20

    Tell me what you think

    Thanks!!!!!!

  • um can you say fins ????? where are they ???

  • its all about air pressure under the skirt, the smaller the base the higher the pressure needed to sustain lift F=PxA F/A=P Bigger Area More force can be generated think biketires, mountain bike 35psi racer bike 120psi to hold up same person. The bigger you aim to make the hovercraft the heavier it can afford to be. i made a simple one using card backed foam from artist shop.the bit i couldnt do was the skirt, it always looked scrappy so i gave up even following propper skirt plans it was pants.

  • Wow. How much does it cost to make something like this? And do you have to buy the remote separately?

  • hi,

you need much wood for the hovercraft i made ... that is not so cheap, i thinkt 150 $ for wood (only an estimate). and yes, you have to buy the rc seperately, 2 1 servo 2 speed controls 2 e motors 1 receiver 1 transmitter.

  • you cleaning carpet?

  • you need to balance that thing

  • how much weight can it hold could u sit on it and let it carry you around? that would be kool

  • lol no its not that strong ...

    maybe 2-4 kg ...

  • dam thats loud

  • obviously Vancouver fan under me has no clue on any sort of modeling... nor does he know how to use Google to search what a speed 600 is before posting more retarded comments.

  • he made it with a vacuum cleaner motor that's all I know lol

  • i made it with a graupner speed 600 ...

  • is that a vacuum cleaner motor model?

  • no its a rc motor ...

  • good R/C model

  • very good!!!

    is a multilex controller?

  • yes cockpit mm ...

  • take ona road or somethjing

  • its a model u buy i think and have to assemble it

  • looks like you have plywood floors!

  • do you have a website where you explain how the cushion thingy works thats the only hard thing i cannot find anywhere

  • hey i know what the cushion does is it traps

air underneath the hovercraft which is why it can hover

  • Did you build the engins and the battery pack? 90% of it was built by you.

  • dam that thing have a loud fan lol

  • holy crap it sounds liek a friggin tank

  • biggest hover modal yet. those like other hovercrafts cannot glide on carpets

  • THIS IS AMAZING WORK..when r we going to actuall ADVANCE past this protoype.. ITS ABOUT T BE 2008..

  • nice

  • Nice hovercraft. Gonna try to build one of these bad boys for a school project but I'm gonna try and see if I can make it into a hybrid sorta thing that runs of batteries and solar panels :P

Anyway are these things hard to design/build at all?

  • hi, nice project :-). its not soo hard do design one but many many hours of work. its very important that the hovercraft is perfectly balanced, cause if its not it will hover away on its own ^^

  • Thanks =D

  • You keep it from hovering away by using the rear thrust motor and steering blades behind the fan. But that's if you're gonna ride it. A model doesn't really matter. Get a sheet of plywood and a gas leaf blower. Then you'll have some real action.

  • fucking shit

  • It is pretty loud but man thats so cool! good for you building it... you dont look that old...

  • how old r u u dont look that old

  • i'm 16 now, when i built it i was maybe 14, i got a little help from my father :-)

  • is that a blender motor holy shit its loud

  • that was so cool!!

  • How fast is it?

  • damn man lol that thing is massive!

  • u didnt build that u bought a guide to build it

  • I can't see anything in the description or movie that says that he built it. Atleast give him credit for having the ability to follow a guide to the T if that is the case.

  • kool
