if you want to save alot of money after 45 fishing go ahead and go to catheyby and start harpooning tunas then cooking them once you have the level then after you have reached lv 55 cooking you do lobys till 85 but you fish the lobbys! by then you will have like 80 fishing and enough to fish monkfish and shark, hope this was helpful! :]

Level 25-45 you can go to the power fishing spot near Gunnarsgrund and pick up the trout and salmon the fishermen drop and cook those. It's free exp. you can also find a fair amount of tuna on the ground at spots where tuna can be fished. 85-90 is better with swordfish due to lack of burning, then monkfish from 90-97ish. Sharks burn a lot, but they're really cheap now and cooking them makes profit minus what you burn.

Thing is though, if you wait to buy food, the price rises will totally screw you over. Things like fish, or logs, or ores, are always shifting. If you're lucky, they will rise, but normally they'll drop. So it's better to buy it all at once if you can, even though seeing how slow it is really does suck.

The expensive way but is the most common way to get 99.

60-69 tuna

69 to 90 do lobster or u can do swordfish at (81 to 92) which isnt really a big difference from monks

90 to 94 monks

94 to 99 sharks

or do tunas or trout to 99 which is what poor people do........

but not to bad of a guide i give it a 4/5
