I was really sad to hear about the death of this kit for you Henry after all the work you put into it. Im actually thinking about getting this bad boy after Christmas and every time i see this review it really helps me out, thanks for the great review Henry and merry Christmas.
@distortish considering the fact that The O cost $140+ for it's size Kshatriya would probably be in the range of $180-200+ because it is basically a MG Quin Matha
I thought that was just amazing!!! LOL. I think the suit over all is just completely BA. Although I was wondering if perhaps you would put one of these together for someone else who might I dunno commission you too? I have to admit I'm no good with anything like this. I might be able to get it together, but it would look just like I took it out of the box and slapped it together. LOL. If so let me know cause I gotta say... AWESOME JOB!!!
i just bought a HG Kshatriya and is planning to paint it. i am a novice gundam builder and have no painting experience whatsoever. just wanted to ask what kind of paint you used cause i want to make it look like yours. and where can i get the decals? would really appriciate the help.
Nice one...i got one of the original NeoGrade kits from Korea when it first came out....it was my first resin kit model, unfortunately i didn't have time to finish him...so i sent it off to a friend who works for Weta work shop for a paint job, hopefully it'll turn out pretty cool with some of the damage they said they'd add to it...should be finished in a week or 2 :)
Great job on this kit. Very impressive paint job being that you used spray cans. I am working on this kit right now and I must say that SMS takes the original kits and make them better. The casting even better than some of the originals. This is one of the easiest resin kits that I have worked on. GET IT!!!
Amazing, amazing, AMAZING! Easily your best work yet. I think you should seriously consider entering this kit into a competition of some kind. It's definitely worthy of recognition. (BTW, did the knee armor break, or were you able to re-attatch it?)
i probably going to wait for the mg, if the mg isn't as detailed as this guy . i probably going to buy this one when i get a job and done with college. which will be in like 6 years T_T
stupid random thought: the Neo-Zeon symbol, where it is located is almost s tramp stamp.
the binders look way better your way.
I so want a resin kit/conversion... just I am kinda scared of them because of the amount of work/skill it looks like it would take to do right. especially since EVERYTHING needs to be painted. I like detailing stuff, but this would possibly drive me insane.
Quin Mantha was designed back in 1986 and for an animated series with a limited budget, I would seriously be surprised if Katoki didn't come up with a better design overall. But it's obvious to me that it's an update of that MA (even if it's much smaller) and some crucial zeon trademarks.
You did an amazing job with this kit, I'm looking forward to see how bandai will deal with the limitations of the desing regarding articulation.
the kshatriya looks like a transformable MA it looks so much better than the quinmantha and the char in unicorn looks like glemy toto with the hawk symbol and all

was it painted before you even painted it or it's just pieces of resin that you'll have to colour yourself?

I would pay a $100 or more for a 1/100 MG version of this... I hope bandai makes one

I recognize those extending arms in the binders. They are the same one hiden underneath Advanced Hazel's front skirt.

The-O and Nightingale also have them
vegeta8259 2 years ago
Wonder if it's just Bandai's laziness or the hiden arm technology is shared among Titan, Scirocco, and Char...
