Um an easier way would be to have frozen field 2 tonic, with sportboost 2 tonic, wrenchjockey 2 tonic and you never need plasmids or any other weapon to defeat a big daddy. Just yo wrench :)

dude, im not saying you didnt do a good jub or anything, but i was playing bioshock (on normal, but still) and i killed an elite big daddy with nothing but a wrench, no electro-bolt nothing, just a wrench.

No research. No wrench jockey. (I did have it but not equiped at the time) Just hacking away for a while (seriously a WHILE!) with a wrench..., Didn't get hit once lol.

I love this game....so close to perfect. xD. You can also try slapping all your proximity mines on a barrel and tossing it with telekinesis. Big Daddies get slammed. Full melee setup for the win.

YEAAH! Bioshock 1 was fuckin sweet with that wrench. Full melee set-up you can fuck those things like nobodys business. screw not getting hit too. With electo-aura thing they get shocked for like 12 seconds. I could solo BD's on hardest Diff without using more than like 1 first aid and only using wrench.

Couldn't you use bloodlust to make you not need any eve hypos? just dont reload and hit him with the wrench, but any eve is enough to use a plasmid once, even the tiny amount bloodlust regains

Instead of wasting Eve [tough economy with those Circus of Values guys], use trap bolts that aren't very hard to make. Set up a row of 5, take a picture of the Big Daddy [research points go a long way], use a wastable bullet to anger him, and have that electro shock ready to go for if he survives.

However, I do agree that the video was poorly titled. My other Bioshock video, a huge improvement on this same general strategy, is titled more accurately: "21 Second Elite Big Daddy Kill on Hard - Wrench and Electric Bolt".

But as for using JUST the wrench to kill a Big Daddy, it is wasteful and time consuming in my opinion.
