I was at the Clive Davis party last week and let me tell you something..Whitney can sing and sing well. She has been working hard for years.anyone that sings you know that when you don't for a long time its like re training for the Olympics it takes time to get in shape. She has been through a lot physically and mentally over the past 10 years but as I said she is back and with all of her life lessons she is even better. I used to sing behind Whitney so I know what I am talking about.

Clearly, Whitney and Beyonce aren't even in the same book. Whitney, who has been around for decades, is in her mid 40's. Beyonce has been around for 10 yrs, and is only in her late 20's.

Whitney "a singer" is known for her voice, Beyonce "an entertainer" is known for her performances. Beyonce can't hold a candle to Whitney vocally, but Whitney definitely can't do what Beyonce does.

For someone to knock Beyonce on her ass, they'll need to do everything she does 2x's better.

Please, its called the music biz, were vocalist exhibit there vocal dexterity. Everything else is extra. When you vocalized as Whitney has since the early 80's then your able to compare. Shaking your ass to 3rd grade lyrics to make you an icon or anything else but a commercial success who tries to hard to be something that is earned. Whitney has nothing more to prove to the world. She has already left her legacy.

Comparing Whitney Houston to Beyonce is ridiculous. It's like comparing Stevie Wonder to Usher. Granted they are in the music business together, but I doubt they share the same fan base. And in the rare event that they actually do, it's probably for different reasons.

People expect Whitney to sing her heart out, that's not required of Beyonce. Beyonce has an average voice, but she has great control over it. And as far as female entertainers of her generation... NO ONE can get in her shit.

I doubt she's coming back. Doing award presenter deals is not a sign of a comeback. Many has been big stars/retired stars do the same thing and are asked to do so for lifetime achievement awards, etc. It doesn't take much to read off a teleprompter. Unless she sings live or appears on a major talk show discussing music then like Arista says - don't believe all the rumors about the album. Hell, there's way more info on Eminem's comeback. At least he stated it himself in a radio interview.
