I'm proud to say I've got them all.. Took ages to collect but got there in the end. None of their motors work but I don't care, they look great and bring back loads of happy memories.
Oh wow! I had Zobor and Zerak! After all these years, I never knew they had names. As I got older (I was probably 4-5 at most when I got them) I could tell they were part of the same toy line, but no idea of anything else. Thanks for uploading this!
@Dirtfire Heres a little more to my Zeroid toy, My parents had hired a Santa to come to our house to give me a gift this is what he brought, the Santa was so drunk he knocked over the bird cage and wanted my Mom to sit on his lap ...true story..Xmass 1968..bird was dead the next day.
@Dirtfire dunno but i have all 3 in the loft in their cases. Never could sell them even though i don't play with them or even look at them. i suppose my kids with stick em in a auction when I am wearing my wooden overcoat
I still have my Zeroids. Zerak is my fav. These were among my favourite toys, and I still have the plastic boxes/sleds with their card backing too (a little used though). I could never let my toys go, and now I'm pleased I've still got them. Played with lots. Thanks for sharing this commercial - I don't remember seeing it.
As I recall, the Zeroids were metallically color-coded. Zobor was supposed to made of bronze; Zerak was supposed to be silver; and Zintar was supposed to be gold! About a year later, they introduced the ruler of planet Zero: Zogg (who seemed to be coal-black steel).
Awesome toys. Zeroids & Matt Mason were so ahead of their time.. There are some really cool documentaries about The Coloforms Out Of Space Men as well on youtube.. incredible imagination behind it.
I love these robots. I used to have the star seeker flying saucer in blue metal, and most of the other accessories. I was only able to save the robots themselves from mother's spring cleaning back in 1970. i keep them with the major matt mason and Colorforms outer space men on a display case in my bedroom. I wish that J. F. Kennedy had not been assasinated, and we had a space materiel production economy instead of one based on war munitions consumption for the Bush Family and their CIA buddies!

Holy crap! These Zeroids are the three hoodlum bastards that broke into my old house and beat the hell out of my babysitter.
I'll never forget waking up to see Betsy layed across the kitchen table screaming "Oh God Yes!" while one of those Zeroids used mind control to make her boyfriend Danny lift it and insert it into some unseen portion of her body...I will never ever forgive the Zeroids...Betsy and Danny seemed to think my reaction was funny but those sons a bitchin Zeroids brainwashed them
My cousin had the Zeroid whose "capsule" transformed into a long buffet complete with kosher brunch. Ideal "pulled it" after only a year. The herring kept corroding the battery terminals.
Saw Zemo at a toy auction and it went for £400... Its the only one missing from my collection. Four hundred quid is a bit painful though? :( .. have to sell a kidney.
Such great toys. Matt Mason, Zeroids, Cyborg & Muton.. arrrhh!.. those were the days.
The ZEMO made a huge price but unfortunatley the winner could only pay with paypal and that is WAY to risky so the sale has not gone through, ZEMO stays at home in the UK.
Did anyone have ZEMO, the lost zeroed he is supposed to be the rarest of them all, a composite robot of parts of the other three from the first range in 1968 with a few differences of his own thrown in.
Yeah I loved these.Had the one that came with the big yellow wheel. My brother put it on his head and couldn't get it off! There are some videos on here with Men from outer space figures but no commercials.Does anyone remember Sea devils Aquanauts, the Major Matt Mason type scuba guys? Really wish I had all my '60's toys still!!!
oh my god! i was 10 years old when these came out,i remember begging my grandmother for one of the robots for christmas, she said i didn't need one, then on christmas day i opened up my presents from her and i had all four of them!grandme busted my chops!.
Well it is refreshing to know that there are other kids around my age group that remembers those wonderful toys. Do you remember the boaterific boats. I just bought a couple off ebay for a couple of bills

The Colorforms Outer Space Men AKA aliens are sweet. I don't think a commercial exist for those, but if one does, I wish I had it. I will be uploading more commercials at some point though.

Not quite up there with the Robosapiens of recent years.

THese 'bots and their accessories are directly derived from the movie "Forbidden Planet," which, if you like this, is a real rush.

@Dirtfire I paid $50 on ebay for a Zintar, with hands missing, and some damage. worth every penny though.

Glad to see that the reverser is included. Nothing annoys me more when I make a purchase to find that it doesn't come with a reverser.

I used to have Zobor. Parents sold him in a garage sale back in 1980. My MMM is gone too. Oh the humility of getting old.
