Thanks. My main goal is getting the C|EH certification but it recommends a Security+ and a Network+. I just can't see myself doing the Network+ as my field is security oriented.
Does CompTIA have an online course with labs, etc included to get your certification?
@CazK88 Necro is right on this one. You don't have to get 2 years experience before taking the exam. If fact, self study I think is better than some of the 5-day courses I've seen. I also agree with Necros advice on taking the Network+ first because it will prepare you for a lot of things that I saw on the Security+ exam. Certs, and exams aside, these are just a part of the career path. Experience gets you hired, and you can get this easily by interning or volunteering in ex for a reference.
