  • Is a mile possible?

  • @r0ck3tsm0k3 The math works out but the rocket would end up being massive in size and weight, and very likely made of metal. The weight and metal would make it illegal to enter in competition, so it might take a long time before someone engineers a way to get an order of magnitude higher pressure into a legal rocket.

  • You sir have taken water rockets to a new high!

  • Thanks, but this is a team effort! We appreciate the kind words!

  • rubbish graphics

  • @cheatwizard001 what do you expect? HD3D video from a durable camera that can at least survive the fall?

  • @stackman1525 Thanks for the backup. You hit the nail on the head. To further reinforce what you said you need to look at the age of this video. Back when this was recorded there were no small HD cameras that would fit in a rocket this size. The camera we built for these videos was as small and as light as we could make it because it was for a world record attempt and needed to be very light. A video is required by the record rules only as proof of the flight, so it didn't need to be high def.

  • Wow, that's a nice one. Strange is has just 140 views.
