Hey

I have a qustion, about Logic Studio:

How would I put effects on one side of or above middle "C" ( every thing below middle C is dry and everything above is wet, (reverb,delay etc )

Would I acomplish this in the EXS24 or somewere in the piano roll window?

@soldier7291 yes you can do it on logic pro, and there are several ways to do it.

get a recorder made to plugin to your guitar amplifier or a cable from your guitar amlifier to your Usb port or record from a mic.

The small box comes in two flavors: Full and Upgrade. The Full is $499 and the upgrade is either $149 or $199 (i believe)

The large box is a previous version. The author of this video purchased an upgrade.

@tombofrog That's good for you, though I must add that if you use the software to make money or anything, even if you just happen to like it... you should buy it. You know the main reason why? Simple, to support the developers so they can come up with even better product in the future. It is not cool to do that dude, and a friendly advice: if you pirate around... you're better off if keeping it to yourself.

its alright.. i think its alittle cheap though.. and lacks character as far as virtual instruments (synth/bass) .. drums are ok though. Id rather use a real synth.

full version or upgrade has nothing to do with your sample library. If you have a non educational version you can just get the upgrade.

hello I have a ultimate generation imac. with 4gb ram & 2.6 ghz processor. Do you think it will be fast enough to run logic without lags, etc..?? it depends. 4gb of ram and your processor is sufficient to run without lag. i have the 2.8 imac with 4ghz of ram and i get no lag even with 15+ instances of battery/kontakt running. i'd say you're fine, as far as live/logic are concerned, they're slightly different yet similar, especially now since logic FINALLY has quantizing of audio. i'd say logic is definitely better, in terms of the instruments that come out of the box, they're definitely more focused towards electronic music.

On the box it says a total of 47Gb. ( 9Gb of disk space for all applications + 38Gb of disk space for optional content) The optional content is a track called "The Numbers Game" . and there are 3 band songs by others as well. All that is the optional extras. the Lilly Allen track is huge. it was great to see how many instruments were doubled / tripled/ quadrupled.

Hi all. I have just installed the #9 upgrade. It took about 5-6 hours to do. I had studio 8 already in my desk top Mac. The Demo disc has some songs on it by people/bands like The Killers & Lilly Allen. I tried to play "the fear" by Lilly and it didn't run as my computer couldn't keep up. Other wise, it is great and the Vary Speed & Flex functions are fantastic. Well done apple.

I think you do as it comes in the one box. The computer will only Add anything you don't have. I just installed the Upgrade for Logic 9. It comes with 3 Jam pack Cd's. #1 and #3 disc's took awhile to load in. #2 disk was in the computer for about 20 seconds before it was done.
