The big deal is that the family should have that say so in doing such. when you send your love one to a funeral you send them their for a funeral and for their body to be treted with respect and care. the funeral home makes their money from taking care of the dead and giving the family their wish. its not for them to get paid to have have someone cut bodies that donr even belong to them. i say give them the book they need to be in jail.

OK That sounds more unethical to me. So were the parts diseased? It seems like the hospital or the surgeon should have the parts independently screened. If I were dying for lack of kidney or whatever, I'd rather have an unhealthy one than nothing, but obviously a healthy transplant would be preferred.

That's not the point. You let a funeral home take a body of a loved one with the promise of it being treated with the utmost respect, and then something like this happens. If it's not a big deal, be a donor! Don't steal body parts off the dead!!
