I would assume that maybe his closest idea of God was energy. The continuous process of creation and desegregation. In one of his performances he refers to God as a giant orb of energy that does not judge, just sits there and pulses. He also mentions worshiping the sun, but I think he said it to make a statement, more that stating a fact.

I'm from Mexico and he has been one of my idols for quite a while now. There are no words to explain how much this man has meant to me, perhaps, to put it bluntly, I could say that he has been my values changing drug as he showed me to question and think. I admire him so much, there are some parts of this long interview in which I'm literally moved into tears. I feel grateful to acknowledge who my hero exactly was and I only hope that I'll never be so disrespectful as to worship him.
