Love this song. Couldn't agree more with what has been said already. But the fact that he is referring to 2012 kind of de-legitamizes it for me. I'm not sure why, but I don't think of it as the same. I had hoped it would be about something more meaningful and figurative, perhaps. I don't know

@dankaz20 I have a feeling it could be about his relationship with the music. she is the music and when he tries to sneak a flask in she doesn't let him. Like you know using drugs in music. Winter 2012 is the symbol for the end of the world and i think hes trying to say, that when he is separated from the music, it's practically the end of the world. But im not really sure, i could be wrong, but its a very interesting song nonetheless

@ThiphopT The way I interpreted the 2012 part was it was representing an end. Which could be college or just a separation in general, but it felt like the end of the world. But I wouldn't be surprised if it had a double meaning.
