if u need to bring back ghosts faster cheat and use testingcheatsenabled true then type buydebug then go to bebug catagory and chose lifefruit and deathfish spawn thing then learn to cook (try making a natural cook sim and move them in) then serve bon appitete.

i have a whole family of ghosts and its getting annoying, just sounds way too hard to make ambrosia though

@rozzamixyyey I always have at least one person in my neigborhoods that is a perfect gardener, with a garden full of "special" fruits. So that makes it one less thing for your sim to work on. They can just go to their perfect garden neighbor and pick the life fruits. There are mods to make theses special fruits/fish buyable at the grocery store, if you want to do it the easy way.

@Mikalabusch Not really. It's like they "reset" to the first day of his age group (teennage/adult, etc) and his life goes on from there.

@GinaTheGenie Life-fruit seeds can be found around the cemitery (special seed, must be Gardening level 7 or so to plant it), Deathfish needs to be caught at the cemetery after 12AM, by anyone with 8+ fishing level (Angelfish is the bait).

@Caittheegreat You need to make it using deathfish and life fruit (that you'll probably have to catch and plant yourself). For you to be able to learn the Ambrosia recipe you need to have a Cooking Skills level of 10, then buy the recipe book at the bookstore ($12,000), read it and, of course, make the dish!

Another way to bring your ghost back to life is sending them back to the past in the time machine *you must have level 10 invention skill to build the time machine* I stumbled across this by accident. Hope this helps some of you :)

@jayten45 Even if they die by drowning, you still get the thomstone/urn. Keep it in somewhere in the house til you get a call from the Science Plant asking you to participate in the "experiment". It usually happens 2 to 3 days after the person dies, but it might happen again if you make friends with the ghost, when it comes to haunt your house at night.

You know what's creepy? I lived in the same house when my sim's teenage daughter and husband died...So her child son had to work together to get the ingredients to revive the teenager. One was studying the Ambroisa book and building cooking skill while the kid missed school to fish nonstop to get the other Angel or Death fish...

@Kikyo361 When your sim dies, you are left with an urn (or thombstone). The deceased's ghost will come by your house to haunt you. When it does, you need to "wake up" a living sim and make him/her become friends (or more) with the ghost. Usually, soon after this new relationship forms, you will get a call from the Science Facility telling you to take your urn/thombstone there to try and re-live the sim. The experimente doesn't work (it never does) and you are left with a playable ghost.

@Kikyo361 Age reversion (elder to adult or adult to teenager_ might be possible, but only if using cheats. If you have an adult, with 3 days to become an elder and eat Ambrosia, he/she will have their "adulthood" reset and will be back to day one of being an adult.

I have a question: My ghost sim ate Ambrosia and he's living again... But he won't stop floating.... will this wear off or am I stuck with a superpower sim?

@HerminaXLuna I guess this is a glitch and you might be stuck with a superpower Sim... :) At least, all of my ex-ghosts became fully functional living sims again. ;)

So I have a question, can a sim who was BORN a ghost (ghost baby) have the same affect from ambrosia as a sim who was born human but died?

i brought back queenie landgrab and milton bachelor by bringing ambrosia to the graveyard

@jklolbrb1245 In my game, Eric only haunted the house if Agnes weren't around, so I'd send her to the cemetery to catch some death fish and kept an eye on the house. Whenever he showed up, I'd make her hurry back home and talk to him. Now for the ingredients, you'll need to plant the life fruit and fish your own deathfish (since they're not available at the Grocery Store) . Besides, of course, achieving Cooking Level 10 and reading the Ambrosia recipe book (it costs $12,000 in the booksstore).

This was a playable ghost, so I just clicked on the plate and told him to eat it.

I've never had a "guest ghost" eat Ambrosia spontaneously (and I have tried)...

Yes, it's somewhat difficult since you need a deathfish, a life fruit and to learn the recipe for Ambrosia, which requires a 10 level cooking (plus the book costs $12,000!!!). Other than that... ;-)

@narutogoodblood13: Well, here's a detailed instruction, when you eat Ambrosiea, the current age will be reset, example: Being Young Adult and eating it while you have, example, 5 days left till Adult, Ambrosia, will turn it into about 200 days, being elder, and DEATH, Ambrosia, will turn it into about 200 days left till death.

yooh dnt actualy buy the recipe, yooh jus buy a book that tells you how to make it, but it is very expensive so i suggest you do the money cheat.

Having a playable ghost at home is the first requirement. The person making "Ambrosia" (the dish that brings ghosts back to life) usually has to max out the culinary/gardening/fishing skills or at least the culinary skills (in order to read the the Ambrosia Recipe book, you gotta be at cooking level 10). The recipe consists of Deathfish and Life Fruit (that's why you will need high gardening and fishing skills also).
