That was a storm for the ages. I would often take the subway to and from work after a short drive from my apartment near Keele and Lawrence. That afternoon, when I got back to Lawrence West station after work, the rain was so heavy that visibility was down to about 50-100 metres. Finally after 45 minutes I drove home. Scary stuff!
