I dont often comment on prices etc as I know a lot of people cannot afford what others can ... but to be honest ... the harmony G for its very low price delivers a lot . Even without using the harmonies it makes the voice sound richer and guitar effects as well...

it changes the guitar sound you can hear the distortion through the mics input i have the same problem as soon as the harmony is put on and you have the input for the voice to high and if you dont have it high enough the harmony drops of to quick

yes, I wish it had a gate on the mic input! I think that would help a lot! I have plans to try this out down the road!

I'm new to all this when you say gate do you mean some sort of filter i was thinking of putting sound proofing round the mic just leaving the front exposed

yes its called a noise gate and they usually come coupled with a compressor! It basically doesnt allow any sound through unless the audio reaches a certain level! So when your not singing the mic would not pick up the guitar! You can pick one up on Ebay for @ $50-100! their are also some companys that make noise gate stompboxes! But for the same price you can get a comp. too! Alesis makes a decent one that is supposed to hve a good gate on it! I think its the "3630"!

This is one of the better Haromizer on the market for not som much money, Used both Digitech VL2 and VL4 earlier but those machines where more like toys, Harmony G and M is way much better for less money
