This is not surprising news. Corporations have been writing congressional bills for years. For example, pharmaceutical companies wrote or had major input into the writing of the Medicare prescription bill that was passed several years ago preventing the government from negotiating for lower drug prices for seniors. The extent to which corporations have influenced legislation [to the state legislatures] is even more troubling, but not exactly surprising.
I cannot believe this issue is getting this much attention in American media. I was under the impression all American media outlets were in on the game (MSNBC included).
