AMS's drag evo and Shep's drag talon are not comparable..... doing so is mis-informed, ignorant and pointless.

...as is comparing Shep to Rau..

AMS's 8.42.xxx falls to STM's 8.40.xxx in their 4sp drag evo!!!

Not comparable? True but not how yer thinking! Have you ever taken the motors apart? Everything on a evo8 is better than 1g! Not to mention straight stats! Shep has a 91 talon makin 900hp AMS has a evo8 making 1200hp! Shep isn't much lighter AMS just hasn't found out how to get down the track yet while Shep has it perfected!

WAY lighter, just as powerful @ the track.

I do not think Shep's engine is putting down anything less than "well over 1000AWHP", and it could have been more for all you know.

That MPH is not possible with a gutted "900hp" talon. Even as a long time fan of Shep, I can not attribute that much speed gain from aerodynamics, and/or gearing alone.

sick dude you have an evo that can go up to 270km/h in 8 secs. but can that car go fast on circuit, coz in my country there's an evo 8 too that's tuned for racing on circuit and it also can go up to 270km/h but not in 8 secs coz that car is for time attack

The car was built for the drag strip why would a circuit car have a parachute? If they wanted a circuit car they could sell that turbo setup and buy/build another evo.

hate to be picky but in the 8's everything bit helps.

i think they could have shaved another .1 or possibly .2 off that time easily. for one there was a slight hesitation or delay off the line (wheel spin is my guess). its picky I know but im just pointing it out. and secondly @ 1:06 he let off for a split second. His MPH was lower then his previous runs as well.

fix that wheel spin, and get that mph back up to par easy 8.2's i think.

darkside, he didn't let off, one of the rockers broke off. They had it fixed after that run, but the track wouldn't let them run again because their cage in the car was only certified for 8.50
