  • This is a revelation, thanks no end!!! The Rockpile version has the better 2-guitar harmony (ironically), but this one is the more rocking, even at a slower tempo. Thin Lizzy on a bad day are better than most bands are at their zenith!

  • this crowds weak! they should be boogie'n way harder!!!

  • @edcdancer3

    Do people still "boogie?"

  • Great song. I knew a guy in college who was in a band called The Trouble Boys, I guess named after this song. TL shows excellent taste in doing this, but I much prefer the sloppy Rockpile version.

  • These are all great musicians indeed, but no, sorry...

I've never heard anyone do this song better than Mr. Bremner himself.

(Which ever way he plays it)

  • This song is writen by Billy Bremner! He wrote this one in the early 80's!

And how do I know that? Beacuse I talk to him yesterday...

  • PHIL LYNOTT = GOD in my eyes. xxx LOVE YOU FOR LIFE, i wll see you again one day. xx

  • Did Phil Wrote this song becouse I saw a other band at 1980 playing this one.

  • @Grumberf its a cover...was written by Dave Edmunds and first recorded by Rockpile

  • Phil was the origional trouble boy, anyone who crossed him got there ass kicked!! ha

  • Not a great song, but it's great that you've got footage of it!

  • It's a great cover, I think.

  • @mudpappy its available on the Rockpalast DVD

  • This guys is bigger than all of us!!! He is the greatest among the greats!!

  • I bought the 7" the week in came out. 'Memory Pain' was on the b-side - is it available on cd?

  • Phil Lynott so fakin cool....

  • Indeed. Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth; lava would turn to ice in his presence. TIME ITSELF eased to a stop on account of his majestic cryogenic influence. He was so cool he left no cool for the rest of us, but that's all right.

  • THIS clip its from a oficial DVD: thin lizzy live in rockpalast, germany 81.

    santa cruz f. c. o mais querido

  • @lizzylives its a cover...was written by Dave Edmunds and first recorded by Rockpile

  • @lizzylives its a cover...was written by Dave Edmunds and first recorded by Rockpile

  • @lizzylives No, it's not Phils song. It was written by Billy Bremner, who was in Rockpile with Dave Edmunds and Nick Lowe. Hanks for posting this, though; I never knew that Lizzy did this song.

  • The original version was by Dave Edmunds, this is a cover of the song, Phil did not write this.
