Long live strong, black, courageous men like Ali, love this movie. Free Howard Morgan, another strong, black courageous warrior, you will be free brother. Trust in God.
''Brother, you do your best to see, they dont put their hands on anybody else... again''
this was civil rights when it was said, and i believe it still is, but now i also believe that the constituency is knowledgeable enough to know that this applies to all politicians in a metaphorical sense. unfortunately it will take the entire country being ruined to wake people up to these facts (being that most of this country are bible beating white idiots)
Watch this movie before every fight!!! Especially this scene. Also love the scene when he's running in Zaire!!! Love Paul Rodriguez in this film. A great cast altogether.
I thinks Ali's so called "dark sides" might be overshadowed by the ENORMOUS "dark side" of the white man in America during that time. Did you see that dudes face on the newspaper? Ali never lynched anybody. This movie Rocks!
This movie is a JOKE. The action was so ridiculous. Will Smith is a fine actor, but you can not act Muhammad Ali. You can not be like him. The movie ''The Greatest'''(1977) is a movie where you also see Ali's dark sides. You see the truth about him. And guess who stars in it? Muhammad Ali plays himself, and he does it GOOD. Not a joke like Will Smith. That was a real Ali movie, this is nothing but a joke.
@combatesdeboxeo It's called "Bring it on home to me." It's by Sam Cooke. There's a CD version, and there's a "Sam Cooke - Live At The Harlem Square Club, 1963 - Bring It On Home To Me" version. Both are great. But that "LIve at the Harlem Square" is unbelievable! Listen the whole way through...
@Jonyirish "Bring it on home to me" by Sam Cooke. The "Sam Cooke - Live At The Harlem Square Club, 1963 - Bring It On Home To Me" version is the best.
liston looks like the original, but Ali looks like Will Smith on steroroids :) My third favorite Boxingfilm. 1. Rocky Balboa 2. Undisputed 3. Ali 4. Great White Hype 5. Rocky 2 Dokus: 1. Tyson 2. Last Round Chuvalo vs. Ali 3. When we were Kings 4. Facing Ali 5. Beyond the Glory: Mike Tyson
you should watch "the fighter" a recent boxing movie, it's very good, though mostly focused on the private life of the boxer and his brother (it's a real story)
best regards to sam cook . BUt i just want to want to say this version of bring it a home from the guy in this movie i dont know who sing that (is it a remasterised version of sam cook or its an other ) because its the best bring it a home version i ever listened
@MrLewyboy It's meant to be the king of Soul, Mr. Sam Cooke!
Of course it's not Sam Cooke in the film since he died in 1964. The song is supposed to portray Sam's gig at The Harlem Square, you can find it here on youtube. Search for "Bring it on home to me live at harlem square" and you'll find it. It's an amazing song.
One of the best movies i've ever seen in my life. Perfectly portraited, by one of the best actors i have ever had the honor to admire, in the movie about one of the most admired, beloved, respected, decorated, and desired fighters in human history.
@hudini129 people who scare god know nothing about him :( if you scare him he don't comes to you because you push him away , he don't like scaring people :) peace & love to Ali

why would they putt malcolm x in the video and talk about elijah muhammad malcolm x stoped to folow elijah muhammad after turning to back to america from mecka anyway i know the movie is about ali but its kinda weard tho
@5dx4mr thats because malcolm x became El Hajj Malik el-Shabazz after he wents to mekka he realize what is islam and he want to tell them others people from the black muslim movement what is islam and who they have to follow but on that day he get shoot my friend so thats sometimes happend when people try to tell the truth about something keep it cool selam aleyjkum my friend peace with ya
