This is some good shit! I just started watching this series for first time today and I can't believe they canceled this :( what a damn shame... ah but anyhow, Id like to tip my hat at Jason Ritter "Sean Walker" for his acting/performance.
Can't believe this show was cancelled after it's first season, I loved it. Great cast, great story, great narrative, which is more that can be said for most other shows on TV nowadays.
I loved this show. it is a familiar sort of story but the way they did it and the twists and turns made this stand out far from others. It is certainly one I want a season 2 to come out but unfortunately the world has a strange way of trying to get rid of good shows. Hopefully a season 2 will come as there is far more that can happen now
They told u about the event its a pole shift of mother earth and the agent guy in the last episode said we wont survive the event which would be a pole shift that didnt happen in 2011 but will happen in 2012 or world war 3 and nukes will go off everywhere think about it folks;)

He said his people left because humans wouldn't be able to survive it, whatever that means, we would like to know...

The character really does have smth special. and the actress is just brillant, I couldn't imagine she was in ER and I had to watch it ,and guess what! I saw Sophia in ER.. I'd say she's the reason why "the event" is just so awsome (in my opinion) . About "the departed", I've never heard about it, but I'm european, ...not everything comes to us...gonna have ti watch it

It's hard to tell from the trailer, but this was definately one of the better shows on TV. Intriguing plot, wonderfully interesting characters...not labled as good or bad, each just following their own motives&values. It def gets better with each episode. I don't think it's the quality of the show that made it go off the aire, I think it's that people in general didn't have the time, patience or energy to really get into it & give this show a chance. Too bad, a 2nd season would've been amazing.

I really liked watching this show. There are still some questions to be answered, but creating these questions is what a good show needs to do, to make us watch the following episode. It didn't really bothered me. The show that did bother me was Unknown. They included to much questions in their storyline which confused and annoyed the viewer. Nothing became clear at all after Unknown's first season.
One of the best shows I've seen! Very few shows I've seen get actually better and better each episode right up until the last episode of the season. How is it even possible such a high quality show gets cancelled?!

@Viewty2012 V was the worst tv show I think I have ever seen, but you are right they cancel good shows because stupid people love their reality tv shows and watch them religiously which means they get good ratings and shows like this tend to get downloaded which means less ratings which in the end means they get cancelled.

I met Bill Smitrovich a little over a week ago here in Denver and he said they would know in a couple of weeks if THE EVENT got picked up by another network, Netflix, etc. I told him I hate his character, Jarvis and he said, "Thanks, everyone does".

After watching both I think I liked The Event more.
Flashfoward had a good pilot episode but then things started going really slow.
I think The Event had better characters and had more action in.

Please KEEP THE EVENT! I know there are some things in the series that I found a bit inconsistent but that is absolutely nothing compared to the grand story arc that MUST BE FINISHED. The season finale was fantastic. I hope another network picks this show up, for the sake of all intelligent TV viewers on this planet.

They cancelled it because i think it has opened a major can of worms...government corruptio, wierd anomalies,upcoming 2012..and numerous other things.
ive watched the series and think its amazing but also think that the series is trying to convey a message to us. what happened to v-reimagined..also left us with a cliff hanher and havent released a date for the final season.
