It's a hellish mess and I fuckin' hate the Elder Scrolls so bad right now...It's partially my fault because I built up so much, I loved everything but Oblivion and thought "finally something that will replace it" ....FAIL

MY GAME WORKS GREAT... The game is a trap, purposely designed to capture people in their folly. FOLLOW the main quest first, get the SCROLL and beat this game in 4 days or less.
Chrono Trigger is an awesome game btw, one of my favorite RPG's of all time. Even bought the original cartidge on eBay so I could get an authentic experience. XD

The laziest thing devs can do is port a game to the PS3 without any consideration for the Cell GPU and only using say one SPU as a core, and the split GDDR3 and XDR ram arrangement. My guess is this is what happens. Games ported only use 1 SPU and maybe not even the XDR ram. That's what causes the limitations.

Skyrim was developed for PC and ported, IMO games should be developed on the PS3, that way shit won't be as broken. I guess Dead Island was all glitchy and the save points messed up on release. I bought it this month and the patch was downloaded with it. I still encounter floating items, blood, bodies, and shit. Why is it so hard to fix that before release?

Skyrim is a great game....BUT, like you said, that gives Bethseda no excuse to be lazy and rush the fuck out of their games. I don't even wanna start on how long it took me to fix Morrowind with dozens of mods and patches to even get the expansions to work. It's not MY job to fix THEIR games on my own.
With this type of bullshit occurring lately, you wonder why people pirate games so much, because if this is what we get for doing the right thing by buying it...what the fuck are we paying for?

Skyrim was developed for PC and ported, IMO games should be developed on the PS3, that way shit won't be as broken. It's like in webdesign, if you design a website for internet explorer (the most broken internet browser ever) your site is more likely to work on all browsers, however if you develop it with Firefox or any other browser first, on internet explorer it'll look like shit. BTW, my brother already beat skyrim on the PS3, but he did have to start over once due to a game breaking glitch.

I guess Dead Island was all glitchy and the save points messed up on release. I bought it this month and the patch was downloaded with it. I still encounter floating items, blood, bodies, and shit. Why is it so hard to fix that before release?

This reminds me of Fallout 3 on the PS3, I bought it for the ps3 and it was just lag after lag after lag... Totally unplayable and half of my save files got corrupted... and it took me about 20 loads just to get past one area due to fucking lag... which is why I got the PC version for New Vegas and got rid of ps3 version of FO3 and got the PC version for FO3 too... just... stupid Bethesda releasing shit for you to deal with... assholes

@StoreslemLilleslem Because the developers are causing problems by rushing games out the door, get a clue, the 360 has FAR more hardware problems than the PS3 does and always will, Bethesda just decided to release the most fucked up version of Skyrim on the PS3, it's nothing to do with the system itself.
