  • i remember last year a rod came close vs the rays on the last game of season. Hit grand slam first AB then 2nd of inning he had 2 runners on and hit a homer so 7 RBI in the inning.

  • I was watching the game when Fernando Tatis hit two grand slams in one inning. My dad was such a sucker cuz he went to bed early, and had to suffer thru me explaining how AWESOME it was the next morning :)

  • On that day, the Baseball Gods smiled on Tatis like they've smiled on no other player before or since. I mean, what are the odds? Hitting one grand slam is hard enough, but to have everything fall just right just to have the CHANCE to do it again in the same inning, and then to come through again, is just astronomical.

  • i have 3 balls signed by chris ... josh kinney , wainright and looper

  • that's one record that i don't think will be broken, similar to johnny vander meer's 2 consecutive no hitters and cy young's 511 wins.

  • I was @ the Tatis 2 GS game.....Dodger Stadium 1999 I'll never forget it. Both off Chan HO parK(E)(WTF did we bring him back?). I didn't bring my radio because I went with friends and when it happened, I wondered how often has this happened, I was surprised to hear on the radio that it was an MLB First.

  • The first, and still the only time.

  • You were surprised? I couldn't believe what I was watching on TV! Stupid Chan Ho, I just looked this up because Vin Scully said he threw the most pitches in the first inning this year. Ho has all the worst records.
