@Wolfhart81 I don't think the issue is whether women compete of not. There are women competition in Thailand. But the case with Nong Tum is that because she has the strength of a former man, it's not fair to put Nong Tum in a fight with other women. And obviously with all the hormones, she's also no longer competitive enough to compete with men.
@Nanniechan Cool! Do you have any advantages or disadvantages when you fight against opponents who were born male? What would happen if you fought against Nong Tum?
Well the only disadvantage I have is that I'm kinda slower in fights.. But in strenght I can be as tough as males... If I would fight Nong Toom, I would lose I think, because she is far more experienced fighter than me! I would like to fight her if I had the chance though
@Nanniechan I'd heard that strength and speed are the main disadvantages that women have compared to men. Its interesting that you can make up the strength difference, but not the speed. Will you put up some of your Muay Thai matches on youtube? I hope you get the chance to fight Nong Toom when you are ready! She is just an amazing person.
@thor99 If I have some material I'll show you ^^, but I havent been fighting real matches since the change, I have been resting for a while and been busy with studying.. When I was a girl I was by far stronger than most of the girls, so I trained like crazy to defeat my male opponents in training. And yes, Nong Toom is my hero!

Nong Tum is so beautiful; she was lucky to have naturally been good looking, even in her "original" form.
This mentions that she's banned from the ring, though I read that she's recently been allowed to fight again.
