I spent some of my early childhood there, the American Air Station, I LOVED it! We lived off base, I will always cherish my time there. Of all the countries I lived in, CRETE, was the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@ErtemEfe You know why. You must know the history. It is not unreasonable hateful or racist for people to feel bitter about history. We must recognize that this bitterness exists and that it is something natural.
When we get beyond that we can work together in order to discover and confront our true problems. Both Greece and Turkey are areas of the world designated for cheep labor to support a profitable tourist industry... as well as other industries.. There is no need we be constantly poor.
