Wow, that was pretty dam cool, they don't make action scenes like that anymore. Except for the last part where she's deflecting the laser, that was definitely cheap but that part is actually like a Godzilla movie: you have to be into it and change your mind to play otherwise you'll think it's hokey. But only that last part, everything else was pretty dam cool. You can see everything and it's Wonderwomen in the flesh, really struggling and really doin it. Rare stuff

The difficulty one has with watching a Wonder Woman episode is that if one has a boner during the entire episode, one finds it difficult to focus on the storyline (rudimentary though it may be) and the other characters in the episode, and the entertainment factor is somewhat diminished.

Lynda Carter was really something! She sure could carry the role.  For a few moments, you actually forget that 1.) she's wearing a silly costume; 2.) they used a stunt double for some of these shots, of course. But you can't tell because she's so graceful, stunning and physically fit. Perfect casting!

This scene would had been more believable if, at 0:50, Wonder Woman tries to jump over the laser but hits the floor with such force that she is knocked unconcious. Upon awakening, Wonder Woman realizes that she is powerless becuase the villian has removed her magic belt. Eventually, SteveTrevor Jr. rescues Wonder Woman and helps her regain her powers;Wonder Woman then defeats the laser by deflecting the beam with her bracelets and she apprehends the villian.

I remember when this episode first aired (I was a teenager in the late 1970s) -- I actually thought for a second that Wonder Woman was about to get KOed from that "laser hit" she took! The visuals may look cheesy compared to the CGI we have now, but you need to focus on Lynda's reaction instead of the special effects -- it is priceless! She just looks so vulnerable! Can't you imagine her taking just one more hit, or maybe two, from that laser, and then passing out cold?
