The song refers to Frank's depression and drop from the media. Also "Halfway Dead" kinda made sure that the 90% of people who played the second game and not the first knew that Frank was infected. Frank was a man with nothing to lose, and he got it all back.

im confused is dead rising a american made series because i thought capcom was japanese, konami did do the american think with silent hill so maby capcom did that with this but im just confused about it, if someone could tell me that would be great

@skatertom5678 The first Dead Rising was made by Capcom Japan, I believe, but Dead Rising 2, Case Zero, Case West and Off The Record were made by Capcom Vancouver.

@Tenucha well probably because the B horror movies made a huge impression on them. And now we don't need a super japanese japanesey horror game since there is Fatal Frame. And they are pretty Japanese if you think about because of all the high replay value and usual japanese weird stuff in them. Alot of japanese even play mercenaries online to this day. Gears on the other hand, has just now been picked up by them. It's good to see those people finally branch out to other titles

Are you crazy? The whole super Wesker, I'll flip all over the shop with a stupid haircut and leather jacket, Irvin from Res 5 stank of typical western attempts on evil characters, the whole over the top Las Plagas infection mutations in bosses, the way that the zombies are portrayed in all early Res titles. They REALLY feel like Japanese games with western themes. Otherwise I could argue that Metal Gear Solid doesn't feel like a Japanese title =/

@DaRkPlUm if u feel any res evil has a japanese feel, ur wrong. Watch The Ring, The Grudge, or play Siren and early Silent Hill. U'll note they rely more on eerie presentation than the grotesque appearance of any Capcom Zombies.
