How can you describe Thin lizzy.....without a doubt in the top 5 of the greatest ever rock bands....and My second fave.....after the masters that were RAINBOW (RIP Ronnie James Dio)
this is one of the most underrated bands in history. if you ask anyone about 70s tunes this is one of the last bands to be mentioned, if at all. its a shame they dont get the recognition they deserve and i miss Phil terribly, no writers and presence like him today.
Proud to say he was from crumlin best thing ever to come out of it aswell as christy brown & gabriel bryne! :) up da crumlin dubs hahaa philo r.i.p missed forever man :)
Freddie Mercury had it, Robert Plant has it, and Philo had it - presence! I was privileged to see Philo and the boys in concert in the Stadium in Dublin many times during the 70's. I'll never forget the dripping sweat from his chin as he strutted about the stage, shining the bass like a searchlight out across the audience seeking some female. Unforgettable memories. Excellent video. Thanks for uploading!
@fishplate7 man i never get tired of peoples stories about real lizzy concerts, all i get stuck with is a crappy ricky warwick show(if you can call it that), i would have been a roadie for lizzy
The sun went down,
RIP, buddy.
