I love BJ1, it is the best! I thought BJ2 was really bad, I hated it! totally untrue to the book, which was great! I just hope they have the director of the first one involved in the 3rd one.

brigdet is amazing, helens fielding's books are awesome and this film, all soundtrack, i mean mariah carey-i cant live if living is without you, celine dion-all by myself and more is gorgeous, renee zelweger, colin firth and hugh grant are just great actors and those re reasons the success of this production

I love this film so much! So funny and romantic and the actors are cast perfectly for the roles. I've got to say, this is one of the occasions when the film is better than the book :)

There may not be a Mark in Bridget 3!! Colin Firth doesn't want to do it! If they can't convince him, they shouldn't do a Bridget 3. Without Mark it would ruin everything!!! Do you agree??

firth said it all depended on the story. he said he would only do the movie if helen fielding (the author) changed the story drastically. he's not willing to do a movie that covered the same grounds

I'm all for change cause who every movie has to be a little different but if the change is to radical people might find that the best qualities of the BJ movies are no longer there and that's what worried about in BJ3! Because people have high hopes for BJ3 and if it out all wrong, the critics and the public will say the BJ movie shouldn't have been made, they should stopped at BJ2! Is that what you want?

lol you seem passionate about this case. the critics didnt like the first BJ movies anyways. they thought the first one was slightly amusing but a whole mess in general and the second one the critics just couldnt endure. i only watched these movies b/c i have a very soft spot for colin firth so i'm probably not going to watch the third one if he weren't in it

I agree with colin has to be in it! however, I am simply stating the fact that I have seen drastic changes have led to bad reviews, public disapointement and box office flops. Beside, I believe that BJ1 had gotten a two thumbs up from Ebert and Roeper in 2001!
