1. @3:50 What exactly did they discover in the robot’s memory that was so surprising, insane and impossible?

2. 3:29 What exactly were those unknown flying objects that attacked the base and where did they come from? If that diamond prism was the cause of all this, how did it gather such a large force of flying units so quickly to destroy the entire planet?!

Spoiler: the Stone-Like killed them all first before they knew what it was all about. And even later in the game, two of the guys you see here die in futile attempts to destroy the thing.

As for the life-controlling part... let's just say that the Stone-Like protects the Earth, not humanity.

ah i love this intro. i still have no clue what they're saying, or what the storyline is to the game. but it's still one of the best games of all time.......

If you didn't understand what does this "All your base" dialog mean: it's a reference to a game named "Zero Wing", which features one of the worst Japanese-to-English translations ever!
