  • Tutti Frutti is the rock 'n' roll record that defines the rock and roll era, authors who comment on the period always say Little Richards ' Tutti Frutti is the defining record, then, along comes the great white Christian hope Pat Boone who de- balls the record and opens the door for white, bland, as Jerry Lee Lewis says, 'Bobby this and Bobby that', gutless , manufactured, sausage machine turned out crap, born in 42, am I lucky , yes sir.

  • ciuli fruli olo luli!!

  • Everybody Has There True Method Of The Birth Of Rock n Roll, Many Say It's The Beatles, Not To Say I Don't Love The Beatles But This Is The True Birth Of Rock N Roll And As Well As Chuck Berry, Richie Valenzeula, And Other As Well.

  • Is Fat Albert danceing tutti frutti...

  • Elvis said: LRichard is my inspiration. Yes, indeed, Elvis recorded four LRichard´s hits in just one year! Little Richard is the man!

  • those white folks wanted to get up and get down like a M@#!$%%, you can tell

  • rock n roll

  • Count how many off beat white guys you see in the crowd lol!

  • @onunez1 The're offbeat because he is singing to his record. Not live

  • Would like to have seem more dancing, and little Richard did not have the same energy he had when he was singing Lucille, wonder if he was tired. Love him anyway, he was genious.

  • @ss4gokuss4vegeta He was smokin reefer with Marvin Berry at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance...not tired, just "relaxed" ;)

  • Great artist...but the couple on the middle of the dance floor is also wonderful.

  • white dude was totally doing the carlton at 1:00

  • As good as that dude danced he should be slim,no matter he broke the laws of physics that very day.

  • @MylesAngus - if you want to hear a rock band that combines saxophone and guitar just listen to Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band.

  • Uncle phil and aunt viv dancing

  • Little Richard...great! Note the four saxophones...big loss! When the guitar took over the band it was an innovation, but the loss of the sax was a big loss. There must be a way to combine those two dominant instruments in one band. That's a challenge that no one has successfully accomplished, so far as I know. The MC in that film segment was the great Alan Freed. In my mind, he was more significant to the development of rock 'n' roll than Little Richard.

  • @MylesAngus - Alan Freed was the Significant to Rock in general making it into the White Only Radio stations which ultimately led to the mainstream without a doubt! God Bless his soul! We wouldn't have the beatles or Elvis, Jerry Lee, or any other rock style to date if not for him pushing it as he did!

  • videos way back in the day.......koooool

  • Tutti Frutti , Bo and Fatty. LMAO

  • i love the daning couple, the man shows, just like oliver hardy could, that a fat man can swing and move supple.

  • What show is this from? This is friggin' AWESOME. Little Richard and Chuck RULED !!!!

  • love it

  • Its not that Beiber isn't talented, he has a good voice, but it just happens that he is extremely gay and Canadian. No bueno

  • OMG, a real king! grabs you by your great balls and makes them great balls of fire!

  • my grampa just kicked his walker over and started doing the Bill Cosby dance.....

  • Go for it Fat Albert ! xD

  • I have 12 years old and this is my favorite song,Justin Bieber is a fake artist.

  • @VH1ClassicRocks Yepp, Justin Bieber does not exist.

  • One of 12 children and a faith healer at 10. By 13 he was making money singing on stage. Because of his young age he was known as "Little Richard." The words to Tutti Fruity were originally "Tutty Fruity ah booty" not "ah rooty", a song with homosexual humor. By the 1960's he often on stage would say, "James Brown may be the King of Soul but I 'm The Queen." He was already outrageously overt by the early 1960s when I saw him perform at the Apollo in NYC.

  • Artists like Justin Bieber couldn't make it in Little Richards time. You actually had to be talented to make it big, not just some generic piece of shit.

  • look at him entertain those white folk

  • Little richard makes ous proud hes proof whites are lame and unoriginal and steal other coultures the truth is whites are boring thats why white girls beg for a real man black power!

  • If elvis was the king of rock n roll, then this man is the god!

  • @xXxstunner and chuck berry is the god of gods!

  • The Real King!!!Love ta see a big guy dance....I think Secretly The Establishment( Ok Blue noses) Wanted to ridicule the new music.(Big Guy Dancing)Little Richard will always be my Hero......Ok Next to Chuck Berry and Carl Perkins....

  • I love these guys!! Great dancers. And Little Richard totally amazing, as always!

  • I love these guys! And Little Richard amazing as always, of course!

  • If this never existed, heavy metal would've never existed

  • the real king

  • Fuck you whiners! Everybody knows Little Richard and Chuck Berry even today, who remembers Frankie Avalon or Pat Boone? That's right, nobody.

  • @DeceasedDeath cuz they where nobodys

  • The era! When the white establishment got a load of this, they arrested half the gang and ran the rest out of town, replacing them with Pat Boone and Frankie Avalon.

  • Oh my, i searched for this about 1/2 year XD I finaly found it!! OMG i"MZ SO happy\!!! YE@HHH!!!1!1!

  • Little Richards face said it all..!

  • ¡Viva el Arquitecto del Rock and Roll!

  • black people entertaining white folks

  • @emirler86 no kidding !!! shows how blacks were treated....you can entertain us but use the back door when you finish...still....good to see Little Richard preform...did what they had to do....they all did....

  • I don't care what color that Lil' Richard is the man is flat talented. Not like this rap crap of today

  • @girlswithguitars859 90's hip hop is good though.

  • Hahahaha, look at the drummer... That's some old school shit :D

  • Boy,the fat guy can sure dance. He has the right moves! It is sad to think that b/c of Jim Crow that the black entertainers cd be the stars of the show and yet cd not sleep or eat in the establishment. A shame!

  • I think they treated black people really bad back in the day and still do. And i hope black people take over America One Day.

  • tutti frutti makes feel like that?

from this day forth, i will always remember you as a sad little tutti frutti man ahahha thanks and $0.02

  • they will, its called the apocalypse

  • @PantherCamaro I'm pretty down for just sharing it.. lol

  • Drummer:DDDDDD

  • que de año es este video ???

  • This must have provoked some fires, and floodings in panties!

  • How come the only people dancing are the black couple? The people at the tables looked like they were dying to get out there and dance, but perhaps that was allowed back then.

  • It wasn't really allowed at all. The reason they're dancing, is because, Richard's songs were so beautiful, segregated halls couldn't help but come together. Shows you just how powerful music really is. This is why Little Richard was so pivotal in the history of music.

  • pat boone stole all his songs

  • Boone didnt steal his songs, he just recorded a tamer version of them which is pretty much forgotten, and rightfully so. But in doing so, he actually helped Little Richard, not only because he got his music played, and many kids went out to find the real version of the song.

  • u r right

  • @rbound827

This is true. Pat Boone was the best thing to ever happen to Little Richard.

  • wooo hooo baby

  • il razzismo americano....che vergogna...

    Grande little richard|

  • Little Richard...

  • EXACTLY!

  • I love how he plays standing up. There's no way he could sit this one out, lol.

  • the start of real rock, Elvis and the Beatles were influenced by him

  • Of course, I mean who else could it have been! LOL!

  • Of course Elvis & the Beatles were influenced by Little Richard, but he was influenced by them also. 1st of all Elvis started recording RnR BEFORE Little Richard, not after like Little Richard would have you believe. But much more importantly, everything Little Richard is he copied from Esqew Reader. Little Rich copied how he dresses, talks, hair, mustache, plays the piano, sings all a carbon copy from Esqew Reader. I love Little Richard but he is NOT the start of RnR like he claims to be.
