The original creator of this song was marley's teacher Joe Higgs (look him up) he was a famous singer i their time. You ppl should listen to more reggae besides Bob Marley's music (which he is my hero btw) there is great reggae to be found!

Listening to this version and knowing why Tosh left The Wailers makes me appreciate where Tosh was coming from. His version has much more feeling. But this is nice as well.

I like Sublime's cover but I think perfection is a little strong... as someone who's studied music a little bit, I would argue that Sublime's version is melodically inferior but that their usage of minor chords during the verses is kinda of a cool change.

Also, their version doesn't have the... presence the original has.
