  • I kinda half wish the camera would level out. I always feel like im going to fall on to the game board.

  • targeting the main powwer generator, you may start your landing.....

  • do you have any tips i can use because i just stareted tau as my four army

  • That lone tau at 6:18 should definatly get somesort of award.

  • lascannon or close ranged multi melta could make a monolith go bye bye

  • @brazothegr8 multi melta wouldnt harm a monolith as you dont get the extra dice and the lascannon would need a 6 to penatrate.

  • tape on monolith...... cheeeezy

  • I'm playing an apocalypse with these armies except with orks and elder too. I'm the nids and by myself for I have the largest army of 4000 :)

  • i never got a look at any of the models

  • nice rebel power generator

  • another great vid

  • Woot! go necrons lol i got 3600 points 108 warriors, 1 monolith, 10 flayed ones, 3 destroyers, 2 heavy,3 tomb spyders, 3 lords, and a pylon

  • this game takes a alot of imagination dont it......... and I have no problem with that :) P.S I just might start getting into this could you give me some tips like what to start with?

  • lose the sound track!

  • can 2 races mix?

  • 6:36 Power plant of Hoth?

  • the mentioning of the immortals reminded me of how i got into tau... i borrowed a friends tau army and faced necrons and he had some immortals... and i quoted 300 "immortals, we put their name to the test"

  • blood for the blood god!!! (tyranids are cool too)

  • w00t

  • 1:21 is that a (converted) LotR serpent from the Nazgûl? xD Awesome batlle it makes me wanna team up with my cousins Necrons!

  • It's from another miniature line, but I don't remember which. I think Reaper.

  • @1hermans1 its called a fell beast :)

  • I know, play SBG for 5 years xD. Just didn't knew if the 40k'ers knew it ;). It still looks a lot like it!

  • lol

  • what colour sceme are the tau???

  • Blood Red, Chaos Black, Charadon Granite, Enchanted Blue, Ice Blue

  • great video! just subscribed!

  • Looks sweet!

  • I only subscribe to Tau channels if I can... but the quality of these batreps and the fact that - at the very least - Tau are frequently shown, I have to subscribe :)

    Anyway, great work as always!

  • in apoc games, does it still last 5+ turns?

  • Apocalypse games last as long as you want them to. The rulebook recommends that you either decide on a turn limit, or use a time limit, making sure to give both sides an equal number of turns. We go with time limits, and usually give each side 30 minutes for a turn.

  • 5/5 as usual, and I've just started my Eldar army, so I'll watch you're video's more to learn from one of the masters, though they were generally BRILLIANTLY-amazing-TASTIC already :p. I'd subscribe, but I'd have to make another account to do that..

  • Thanks for the kind words. Good luck with your new army! What stuff will you be using?

  • Well, I originally wanted a themed Saim-Hann Jetbike army inspired by Fritz at WayofSaimHann but as I was reading the codex, I realised how simple and effective the Eldar way of war was. The crude vehicles of the Mon-Keigh are no match for our sophisticated weaponry! Well, It's going to eventually be an apocalypse of about 6000pts, although it'll have an abundance of Shining spears, falcons, wave serpents, 20 dire avengers, asurmen, jetbike autarch,

  • farseer, some guardians, banshees, scorpions, pretty much everything in the codex except for harlequins XD. But I'm just trying to get it to a size that fits my tactics that are designed to trounce the Necrons that my space marines generally struggle with.. So any advice would be really appreciated!

I ran out of characters on last comment :S

  • Sounds like a lot. I find one of the better units to deal with Necrons is Shining Spears with Autarch and Exarch with skilled rider, so they can dive into cover to take them out. Usually causing the unit to take a leadership test with a ridiculous negative mod in combat is the best way of dealing with them that I know of. Shooting them while they are in cover is basically a waste of time if they have a resurrection orb. Generally Necrons are one of the armies I have a tough time dealing with.

  • As for Apocalyptic sized army, have you considered a Scorpion? I know that tastes and budgets on Apocalypse forces varies between people and gaming groups, but if there is one single Eldar Superheavy to take, the Scorpion is the one that I would recommend. You can find more information on it if you're interested on my blog.

  • Tau of heroic standing

  • It's amazing what a little luck and a cover save can do. We were all surprised how much firepower they absorbed that game.
