planes look lower than they actually are at this height, my guess is it was less than 400m high, ive been learning about this plane and seen it go through most of its tests, the tail scrape was the best, they put a big orange piece of steel on the back of the plane so if the tail hits the ground on take off they can see how the plane reacts, coz of the size of the plane it shredded the steel down to the bone, it was funny :) u shud look up this plane and learn about it, its awesome!!!!!!!!!!
Wow! Do they fly that low all the time there? The noise must be deafening. It is amazing how the plane didnt touch the telephone wire was it? thanks more please if you can xx
Not quite that low, it was a low pass as part of the many it did that day.
In general if they are approaching that way they aren't much higher, and if you go just a little further down the road towards the airport you can walk under the approach, and it' only a matter of meters before they touch down so close enough to feel the engines ...
Nothing special as far as I know, just the usual Easyjet, Ryanair flights, plus Cessna's, Tomohawks etc, Robinson R22's doing training flights I'd guess.
