It's pretty ignorant to compare Kopitar to Daigle, considering the sheer amount of hype surrounding Daigle. He was the first overall selection and was breaking records in juniors. Kopitar went 11th overall and barely managed 20 points in the Swedish elite league. So yes, 60+ points in Kopitar's rookie NHL season is quite impressive.
