his helmet looks so much heavier than the sword and yet his head doesn't even droop but he drags the knife with great effort? i'm confuzed??? the knife looks heavey, sure but come on, it kinda looks weightless compared to what his muscley arms could lift.
If PH is a manifestation of James's guilt and sins, would every trace of PH just automatically vanish? Konami didn't want to just give up on one of their greatest creations! So PH lives on and I hope to see him in silent hill 8!

(gasp) how dare you speak those words, Pyramid Head, is a WHO! he is my favorite creatures, the other monster in silent hill series aren't powerful than him all together, he the most powerful (but slow because of his Great Knife, the blade in the video) "monster" in the game series, he symbolized punishment, in fact I'm making a costume that is similar with this, I'm using this video to get the right mesurement, but it too dark to see it... :-(
No Valtiel serves a whole diffrent purpose in sh3 and thats the survival of the infant God. PH is something else entirely. In fact in SH2 when James looks down that hallway Akira designed it so it was like James was looking into a mirror. They are both high ranking demons and its understandable that they might have resemblances. Their is mention in the series of a red god and yellow god and ph glows red and Valtiel does glow a little gold. lol forgive my nerdyness :P
SH2 was the scariest imo it just really got in your head. SHE 3 is a sequel of sh1 so if you dont know sh1's story its still a great game just much better if you know sh1. SH3 had more visual type horrow whereas sh2 stayed with me even after I shut it off lol. I agree SH4 wasn't scary, creepy at times but not scary. It wasnt originally meant to be a part of the series at all though.
The first two are the best. Honestly, the first one made me a little more nervous than any of the others. Homecoming is ok, not really scary. Interesting plot, though.

The reason he never shows his face is because it enhances the mystery, make a man in a bloody smock and a giant knife and its just a butcher, get rid of his face, and put something inhuman over it, it will make it that much scarier, you think he looks human but hes not. you dont know what he is...it plays off the fear of the unknown trait. its also why people love him so much.
Well if you saw the boogeyman ending both parts of the mask where to enclosed and with spikes inside them so i pretty much dont think he got a face or even a head...

there was hardly likely to be some massive showdown with him at the end of the film. he exists only as long as your guilt lingers. the film was dope and the only game to film that has been done right imo. just hope they don't fuck up legend of chun-li. 1 bad SF film was enough. really.

It's probably a different knife, because even if you don't steal the knife, his weapon changes to a spear. Unless he decides to change back to the knife... I dunno :P

Actually I like pyramid head in SH2 better. In SH2 he was this psycho demonthing which was going around raping nurses and other enemies.. He was scary as hell and when you had to fight him you almost pissed yourself. But now in SH:H he's not scary at all.. he's just cool. Like in SH2 you thought like: fuck it's that pyramid thing again!!! shitshitshitwhattodo??? But now it's more like: woooow, it's Pyramid head! awesome!

No he doesn't still rape, you don't even fight him in the game. Silent hill homecoming was probably the 2nd worst in the franchise, Silent hill 4 being the first, just my opinion.
You know, in silent hill 5, in this one hotel stage, you meet a woman behind a closed door! But there is a hole right through for her voice to reach through... anyways, I believe that women was Mary! Cause it sounded like her and it took place in Silent hill as well in a hotel!! But it wasn't the lakeview hotel like SH2 though... And she was asking for her Memories and such. I could be wrong but then again, the pryamid guy was there there at the hotel too so who knows! Tell me what you think!!
i think he looks great cause its identical to the movie and chris ganes *i think thats his name* the director who was a huge fan of the game thats why the movie was great in comparisson, just made everything look great. The original is of course amazing too but the way he looks now *and everything from the movie* was a good slight upgrade.

i think its a slightly different knife, that or stealing it isn't part of the storyline.

Yeah, probably.
It's probably a different knife, because even if you don't steal the knife, his weapon changes to a spear. Unless he decides to change back to the knife... I dunno :P
Maybe it's just a different Pyramid head :P

Although he represented something unique to James in Silent Hill 2 (the monsters in each game represent some psychological aspect of the character(s) in each story), Pyramid Head is historically connected to Silent Hill (the actual town, as opposed to the nightmarish alternate realities which are unique to each story). In Silent Hill 2, a picture in the Historical Society shows us that "PH" is an exaggerated version of one of the torturers employed for "cleansing" people in Silent Hill's cult.

Actually I like pyramid head in SH2 better. In SH2 he was this psycho demonthing which was going around raping nurses and other enemies.. He was scary as hell and when you had to fight him you almost pissed yourself. But now in SH:H he's not scary at all.. he's just cool. Like in SH2 you thought like: fuck it's that pyramid thing again!!! shitshitshitwhattodo??? But now it's more like: woooow, it's Pyramid head! awesome!

No he doesn't still rape, you don't even fight him in the game. Silent hill homecoming was probably the 2nd worst in the franchise, Silent hill 4 being the first, just my opinion.

You know, in silent hill 5, in this one hotel stage, you meet a woman behind a closed door! But there is a hole right through for her voice to reach through... anyways, I believe that women was Mary! Cause it sounded like her and it took place in Silent hill as well in a hotel!! But it wasn't the lakeview hotel like SH2 though... And she was asking for her Memories and such. I could be wrong but then again, the pryamid guy was there there at the hotel too so who knows! Tell me what you think!!

i think he looks great cause its identical to the movie and chris ganes *i think thats his name* the director who was a huge fan of the game thats why the movie was great in comparisson, just made everything look great. The original is of course amazing too but the way he looks now *and everything from the movie* was a good slight upgrade.
