  • I love Tony. He's just adorable.

  • I did one session of strict, to the dot, P90X. I lost 50 Pounds. and I'm 19 years old.

  • Love it.

  • the Michael Scott of the exercise world

  • Now I have to workout tonight now

  • I wish Tony didn't get a facelift.

  • I gotta go check on the kids!

  • Wow, this guy is 51?

  • I can actually say that P90x wasn't that hard for me...I'm just that damn good!!!

  • i wish i would look like him at 50 years

  • tony is amazing

  • Tony for president!

  • Tony Horton would judo chop Chuck in the back of his forehead

  • He's 51???? Jesus Christ he looks good!

  • Right now I am doing Insanity, then doing Insanity Asylum and then doing P90X! Woot!

  • Tony Hortons a beast

  • Chuck Norris would destroy Tony Horton. Anyone who thinks differently is severely homosexual.

  • @javitrevi79 In a fight, yes, ofcourse.... in fitness, hell no

  • TIP OF THE DAY - DON'T SMASH YOUR FACE,

  • @matt876mma "Let someone else do that for you." ha ha ha.

  • @matt876mma let someone else do that for you* ;D

  • Tony is the friggin' man!!! Love that dude!!!

  • How effective is it with out being fully on the diet?

  • @monkeyman123321 I wouldn't call the P90X nutrition plan a diet. You will be eating a lot of food. If you don't follow the nutrition plan and eat junk then your results will of course suffer.

  • @monkeyman123321 Look, the nutrition plan is a diet, a HEALTHY diet. Improving the quality of food you take with the super-fast resistance training of P90X, then you will lose weight. This is Great intensity//high rep stuff, so your calorie burn actually increases for a day or two. Trust me, I ate 3,200 calories per day on P90X, but only perfect food, and lost a ton of weight. 50 pounds+!!

  • @monkeyman123321 it doesn't work if you don't eat right. you get muscle but you will never look ripped if you don't eat the protien in your diet and few carbs

  • @monkeyman123321 .. You dont have to copy the nutrition plan exactly. In my opinion the best way to do it is take ideas from it, such as recipes, and certain meals.. If you follow it to a TEE your going to be spending a shit load of money on food. Basically just eat healhty, often, and smart.

  • @monkeyman123321 The key to getting in shape is good nutrition and a healthy diet, I would argue nutrition is more important than weights itself; if you do not supplement the videos with any sort of change in your current diet, you will get some results (maybe gain 5 lbs in muscle), but you will not lose a noticeable amount of body fat.

  • @Etalian5tallion nutrition is key, but p90x is mostly about gaining muscle, you cant gain muscle with diets..... how many buff people do you know that only diet? weights are more important

  • @monkeyman123321 It's not really effective. You will get maybe stronger , but sooner or later you will fail because you are not feeding yourself properly and ofc you will quit.So I'd rather you ate well :) Good luck!

  • wtf he's 51!?!

  • @theazn07 yup. That's what good fitness and a healthy lifestyle does to you =)

  • I love tony horton, no homo

  • this guy needs an award for creating a non-gimmaky program that actually works!! Hard work really does pay off with this program!!

  • what did he say? 51? respect !

  • I do the yoga x & stretch X, its fantastic i've become so much stronger doing yoga & resistance training.

  • @kindadreamer dude I swear yoga x is fucking hard. Im a swimmer use to play football, wrestleing powerlifting but ive never done anything as hard as yoga x lol

  • I've done p90X for two rounds, and I must say the program is enjoyable and DOES GET RESULTS. I recently have started doing CrossFit. CrossFit in my mind is much more difficult than P90X, and is a more fun program. Not dogging on P90X, because trust me it's a great program, but if you want to get in the best shape of your life, have a personal trainer that you can talk to, and have someone to motivate you, then do CrossFit, trust me, it will change you.

  • @Bangitzkay also because you can do it from home you dont have to go anywhere, you can have it whereever you go, and there is no closing time, lines, waiting for a machine, late fees, member fees, dont have to worry about other people, you can make your house hot if you really want to sweat and work, do it when you roll out of bed, when you get home from work, listen to whatever you want while doing it. There are just so many advantages to having it. I worked at a gym and would much rather this

  • i skip x stretch and yoga cuz i do karate on those days i wuld do those

  • out of all the p90x workouts i thought yoga x would be the easiest but shid thats the hardest one to me

  • I really want to do the P90x, but i already have a gym membership for a year although i get lazy going. The p90x is really expensive especially bcos' i'm 16 , female no job and buying all those weights and whatever, i doubt id be able to get it. What should i do!?

  • @BangItzKay P90X is not expensive at all compared to your gym membership. Instead of weights you could always use the resistance bands if you want.

  • @123viewyou resistance bands! great tension with the bands!

  • @BangItzKay P90x is not espensive. It may seem that way at first because u have to buy that and that. But those things you have bought you will have it for life so it's not expensive if you think in the future. You can du the P90x how many rounds u want!

  • @BangItzKay Get selecttech dumbells on ebay. A lot cheaper and the adjustables are more cost efficient. Or you can use bands.

  • @BangItzKay The bands really do do the job. I use them all the time when I'm not at home where i have access to my weight room. P90x incorporates the bands perfectly for any workout.

  • @BangItzKay You really don't need to buy much and if you get the delux pack with the pull up bar and bands you'll be ok , cuz I have the bands that come with it and there not some weak rubber bands and I'm 6'2 240 and I use 40lbs for my arms. I will say that you should get some free wieghts cuz you'll need it for some of the moves .

  • uppercut fail..lol, jsut picked mine up though..looks good

  • Notice how the news anchor unbuttoned his jacket but didn't do the exercises, he said fuuuucccckkkk that

  • I've been on P90X for a week, and I've lost like 10 pounds already. It's freakin' crazy how awesome this program is. This program should be used worldwide in schools to sort out the obesity epidemic. Oh, and Tony Horton is the man!!!!!!

  • 51!? Fuck-Me!

I thought he was in his 30's

  • 51 one YEAR oldddd !!!!!!!!!

  • Tony Horton is a real modern day Jack Lalane. Brings happiness to so many people.

  • finished the first 3 months... now about to finish the 4th one

i hate it but i love it :)

  • WTF Tony Horton is 51?!?!!!?!??!?!!?!

I thought he was 29 or something! O_0

  • I m sold I will purchase this week thanks Tony

  • Tony Horton is the real deal, kenpo's my favourite

  • I am on my second time through P90X. Strangely, I am still overweight and weigh about the same as when I started. The difference? My body fat percentage has dropped by half and my visible muscles are much more prominent. I went from no leg definition to pretty prominent calves and quads, for example. P90X is very, very difficult, but the results are for real.

  • @recardwizard you might want to do the insanity workout if you want to lose weight. P90x will just make you pack on a bunch of muscle.

  • @randleqgod That's what I am hearing and I appreciate the recommendation. After my current P90X cycle, I think I'll start on insanity and see what happens. Thanks!

  • @randleqgod well that a real bummer :P lol

  • is p90x good for a skinny person like myself? or is it just for someone with fat

  • @productofmontessori Absolutely. If you want to build some muscle P90X will do that for you.

  • @productofmontessori

I too am thin and I've struggled with trying to gain weight on P90 X. I'm on my third round and can eat A LOT! I've modified my diet to include more protein. "The X" has made me a lot more toned and all my age related (51) aches and pains have vanished, including some severe heel spurs. Maybe this third round will add more muscle.

  • @productofmontessori yes it will get u inthe best shape of ur life!! message me if u need anymore info I am on day 47

  • @productofmontessori Tony Horton was VERY SKINNY. He hated it and wanted to bulk up. That's how it all started. You're never too skinny. Don't forget your protein. :-)

  • @productofmontessori There's a lean plan, which will, of course, make you lean. The regular plan, which makes you buff/ripped. And the double down plan, which is twice a day. O_O Good luck.

  • man im pissed that i stopped at 30days of P90x

  • @INSANEFREAK1 You can always start back up again. That's one of the great things about P90X, you can do it forever.

  • @123viewyou tru

  • @INSANEFREAK1

Why did you stop after 30 days?

  • @gulfsurfa me n my older brother were doin it, i kept him going n he kept me going, but when we hit 30 days he gave up n that discouraged me to keep going

  • jab, cross, hook, uppercut! haha

  • Just finished day 1. Damn was it hard, but I felt amazing afterwards.

  • @soundersfan90 You will feel even more amazing after you get through your 90 days. Great job!!!

  • @hunterdwhitley1993 You should talk to your doctor first. You have what most would say is an adult body, but at the age of 16, whether you look like it or not, your bones, muscles, metabolism, and whole body in general is still undergoing a tremendous amount of change that won't slow down for another 2-3 years. Going too extreme may injure you while it wouldn't necessarily injure someone who is slightly older and finished with the body changes that come along with FULL maturation.

  • @ZanyProductions123 Why are teenagers allowed to play sports then? Trust me, modern sports conditioning for high school athletes is very similar to P90X and any teenager can do it. Actually, any able-bodied human being can do it.

  • @mojomatt176 Teenagers are capable human beings with agile bodies. This is a medical issue that any pediatrician will confirm. Teenager bodies are not the same as adult bodies. They are more PRONE to injury more so than adults who are done growing. Why do you suppose the disclaimer on the P90X program states that it is not recommended for people under 18? Ask your doctor.

  • @hunterdwhitley1993 yes u shud... ovr the past summer i was 5'9 and weighed 180 and i did this program and right now ive gained an inch so now im 5'10 but now i weigh 150 lbs!! it totally works before i cud only do abt 35 puch ups max and 0 pull ups and now i can do idk at least 60 push ups and abt 10 pull ups! its awesome :)

  • Just bought myself P90 for Christmas. Wish me luck!

  • @bigdaddyquey Good luck!!!! What a great Xmas present.

  • @bigdaddyquey did u finish the program???

  • @bigdaddyquey

My friend gave it to me on my birthday :D

  • does the diet really play that big of a role in the whole thing....im not trying to lose weight jus trying to build some more mass and get abs..but im not gonna change how i eat soo would that really effect me? cuz it seems pretty unbeleivable that it would

  • @jarebear909 Following the nutrition plan is just as important as the workouts themselves.

  • @jarebear909

I would suggest you follow the portion plan and learn to calculate calories and nutrients. The meal plan is unrealistically expensive and just a chore. Keep this in mind and you will be successful.

  • @jarebear909 Nutrition = 60% , Exercises = 40% . Cannot build or get abs without proper nutrition.

  • Is this news or ad ad? Screw you FOX news.

  • omg they use celebs to sell this...so lame...

  • i love this man... I'm such a better athelete now and its because of this man.

    17 years old, 4.57 40-yard dash, 800 lbs in squats/bench/cleans combined, 32 vertical.

  • i did it for like a week straight. then every once in a while. then not at all! im just starting back up again and im commited more than ever... but im afraid i will stop again. anybody else have this problem :(

  • @tomT024 i do man. it sucks. this is like the 9th time i re started but its cuz i would party alot, if theres anything thats getting in the way.. sometimes u gotta make sacrifices. im sticking to it, you should too!!

  • I was already athletic when I started - I actually gained 8 pounds, which I'm hoping is muscle :P

I've been very happy with the improved performance.

  • i would say tony is my hero and will always be my hero...he changed my life and i am really grateful...much love and respect for this guys <3

  • @sassysasha27 yeah I got great results when I first started insanity I weighed 315lbs now I'm at 205lbs no joke I'm at month 2 of p90x

  • let me see i have done p90x in the past loved it i started with 2 pull ups and about 10 pushups and finished doing about 18 pull ups and around 35 pushups i had to take a break because of a sport and started it back 3 days ago and im sore as heck.

  • @hunterdwhitley1993 hell yea, dude. I'm 5'10 and when I started, I was 182 and could only do 15 pushups and 1 pull-up(on a good day). I used heavy resistance bands doing pull-downs, instead of doing pull ups, A couple months in, I started mixing in the actual pullups into the first half of the workouts, then switching to bands when I could only do 1 or 2. I'm halfway through my 2nd round, 25lbs lighter, and now I can do 7 real pull-ups. and I rarely use the bands at all anymore.

  • that guy is awesome

  • I am thinking about doing the P90X workout routine. I want to follow the nutritional guide but I am a vegetarian. I wonder if that will be a prob.

  • @truthfinder2175 You will need a lot of protein, so I hope you like beans. lol. If you aren't against milk products, then whey protein will help you a lot. If you are vegan, soy is great, but you need the avoid genetically-modified (GMO) soy. Look for "Non-GMO" or "Organic soy" on the label.

Also Google "bad ass vegan" and his site has a lot of good resources for meatless dieting for bodybuilders. I think he's even a p90x coach.

  • @truthfinder2175 tony horton himself is a vegetarian. you shoudn't have a problem =p

  • @hunterdwhitley1993 wow man im 5'6" weigh 165 and im 16 and i will start p90x very soon with a good diet im reading the nutrition guide... i can't wait to start :P

    Bring it!

  • @hunterdwhitley1993 i'd go for it. I started it last summer at 19 and I saw amazing results. Plus as a mid teen you have a lot of natural growth hormone to help ya out.

  • Great interview, two very likeable guys.

  • What Tony calls Yoga is actually not Yoga, Yoga means union with the divine, it would be like if someone in India invited you to a prayer circle and everyone was doing jumping jacks. What Tony is doing is actually Hatha Yoga, and there's a big difference.

  • @Kittysafe but it's still yoga!! doesn't matter what kind!! and since you seem to be a yoga expert, you should know that!!

  • @hunterdwhitley1993 Sure. Why not. Just modify if you have to.

  • I like p90x Hate the propaganda channel fox

  • @GrappyFlappy This is a local Fox affilliate, not "Fox News Channel"

  • im 28 getting ready to start p90x to turn back to 21 years old. Also, health insurance is so expensive. Im going to use p90x as a religion and live young forever.

  • im 28 getting ready to start p90x to turn back to 21 years old.

  • I am the biggest skeptic in the world, and it took me awhile to finally try P90X. But I've been doing it for a few weeks now and I've noticed serious results already. It's all up to you. The program is incredible. You just have to hit play every day and you will see results. Trust me, if I can do it, anyone can haha

  • Man, now THIS is one hot 50 year old! Tony looks better than most 20 somethings I have met! Goes to show you, you don't have to turn flabby and develop a beer gut as you get older. No excuses... it's just plain laziness and finding excuses not to workout. I'd do him! lol

  • there are no short cuts, go to the gym, eat your vitamins your protein slash watever shakes and put in work. who needs dvds

  • @darintaylor79 but if you can have p90x in your home and get the results that deliver, why spend money at the gym!! it'll actually end up costing more!! the average membership is about 20 bucks per month....6 months you're at the cost of p90x with not half the results!! throw in about 100 bucks for a personal trainer, now you're over budget!! not to mention the cost of gas money or whatever, going to the gym.....etc, you obviously didn't think this thru before you commented!!

  • @Mineyurn strictly speaking, you don't need to pay for P90X, but i would not condone watching it on megavideo :)

  • @JaMesJC112 well, i paid for it and if feel better knowing that i got everything i needed from a actual source!! so, it's not burned, copied or nothin!! Plus, when i pay for it, ppl ask me to copy it for them and i say hell no, either find somebody else to copy it or buy it yourself!!

  • @Mineyurn I started with a "borrowed backup copy" *ahem*, but after about a month and a half, I paid for the real thing, and I'm glad I did. Then gave the "backup" to my family, who are now going to buy the real thing.

  • @CaptainCocaine Lol, good for you dude!!

  • These DVDs are too much... meaning they are superbly awesome! not only I am feeling the results but the intensity of the work out has made me cut down on my cigarettes, it's too much! I am loving it.

  • Im on day 66 round 2 doubles ive lost 72lbs and im in teh best shape of my life

  • @goblindealer Wow phase 2...nice job! by now you've finished it Lol. I'm on day 18 phase one hehe...

  • @goblindealer 66 days, second round as in 156 days??

  • should i do p90x, im still 15

  • im 15 and im supposed to do P90X at school

  • P90X does work and gets RESULTS. I lost 12 lbs and 2" off my tummy in the first 3 weeks alone.

  • Hey all, I am starting p90x in a week! I will be uploading videos of my progress. Does anyone want to do it along with me? It would be great if we had a whole group! Just send me a message! : )

ps I am not a beachbody coach or w.e. they are called. Just a regular guy!

  • Thanks for uploading...I'm on day 11 of P90 (not X, the original) and I feel great. The workouts make me feel better and my diet has eliminated my cravings for sweets and fast food. I'm looking to start P90X here pretty soon.

Tony Horton is a badass and has helped so many people change their lives. I'd love to shake his hand some day.

  • @mattymofo69 Nutritionists recommend that people eat their pound bodyweight in protein a day for muscle development. This is difficult enough, because meat isn't cheap, and eggs lose their appeal after the first dozen in a day. This is further disrupted by the fact that you can only synthesize so much of certain proteins per hour. The only way you can realistically achieve those numbers is to be on a whey protein. Any less, you deteriorate more than you gain, and your wasting your time.

  • @mattymofo69 Creatine assists greatly with the production of ATP (Adenosine Tri Phosphate). The human body produces enough of this to supply their muscles for general day to day activities like work, and sitting around on the couch. Once you've depleted your ATP, lactic acid sets in, and you are operating at a decreased level, damaging your muscles, and wasting your time. It is unrealistic to expect any real muscle building achievements in the gym without creating.

  • @mattymofo69 Arginine is a topic of great debate, but the general consensus is that it fills your muscles up with fluid, and inhibits the natural deterioration that occurs after a serious workout.

GH stack, well, that was just a cheap bonus for me, and in the end, I chose to go with a protein shake before bed, because the L-Arginine edged me out.

Exercise is natural. Bodybuilding is not. Getting bigger, doesn't matter what you do in the gym. It's what you do at home that makes the difference.

  • @mattymofo69 And lastly, you buy into what Steve Turano tells you, but that man stinks of bitter jealousy towards Tony Horton's awesome success. He tells you that Tony is just a hard seller, than he turns around and says "subscribe to my channel, and go to fat loss pill dot com or some shit. Steve Turano is a meat head who simply doesn't understand the deeper complexities of body science.

  • TONY HORTON > CHUCK NORRIS

  • @Logicalpsycho2323 No....

  • @juice25210 Yes....

  • @Logicalpsycho2323 Tony Horton was genetically engineered from Chuck Norris' super sperm.

  • @Logicalpsycho2323 ...uhhh

  • im 13 and i got a 4pack after my 45th day :)

  • If you buy the program it is always there when you need a workout. If you do not do the 90 days you can still use it rather than wasting money on a gym. Do what you can it is worth it.

  • im 15 years old .. am i okay to use this?

i weigh 125 pounds and my height is 167 in,,

  • @muskaanrocks21 you're 13 feet tall?

Yes, i'm 15 too and i do this program as well, so you'll be fine.

  • @gmail.com123viewyou just got P90X but cant start it yet cause i still got 2 weeks left of INSANITY but im so pumped to start it also bought a bunch of dumbells at walmart all the way to 40lbs but i still need 45s 50s and 60s cause 60s my max were can i buy some besides walmar? t(they dont have higher than 40s) or am i even going to need to go that high in weight?

  • @Dudeyesx Try craigslist. There are some good deals there.

  • @Dudeyesx You probably should've got a pair of adjustable dumbbells... Would've saved a bunch of money.

  • @Dudeyesx you are doing P90X after INsanity WOW . DID you NOT get great results? Let me know .. I am doing P90X now and loving the results ..

  • 51 wtf

  • hes so tiny

  • @terrapatra he can murder your family with his bicep. :)

  • hey Monday August 16th 2010 was my first day I weigh 384lbs. wanna hear follow my story go to P90X384lbs.blogger.com.

  • i 4rt the blakguy was james toney til i saw that uppercut

  • i can't believe that guy is like 50

  • To everyone

P90x is by far the most diverse work out you can do, you sweat and yell through out everything, but it pays off at the end i gurantee you if you stay committed you will see awsome resualts im into my 2nd time of p90x and its a life changer im 5'9 1 50 with AMAZING 6 pack from this work out, anyone can do p90x ANYONE !

  • 51 holy fuck

  • Is Horton saying on here that he only charges $120 for a private training session??? I'd pay that much to have one session Tony.

  • im on day 6 right now i fucking love the p90x

  • I want to try this out but I'm worried that the fat that I have now on my arms, thighs and calves will turn into muscle making them look huge. I'm a girl so I really don't want to have big muscular body parts.

  • @NoirTulips the fat will burn away during the first month if you follow the nutrition plan. Muscles will get toned because you'll be using light weights as a female, you won't gain much bulk. Look at the other female graduates of the program, they're never huge. They just become toned. As long as you're not using testosterone enhancers or anything crazy like that (which you shouldn't) you will stay within "girly" parameters.

  • @NoirTulips There are three basic versions of the program. Classic, Doubles and Lean. If you do the "Lean" program you will trim up and tighten up without really building the "mass" your concerned about.

  • I WANNA DO THIS SO BAD, I'M JUST NOT SURE IF I CAN HANG. I RECENTLY STARTED RUNNING ABOUT ALMOST 4 MONTHS AGO AND I'M NOT SURE IF I THAT'S ENOUGH TO PREPARE FOR THE PX'S INTENSITY. I AM A FIGHTER BUT I HAVE ANOTHER CONCERN, I WANT TO BECOME TONED BUT NOT LIKE A MAN. NO OFFENSE TO THOSE WOMEN WHO GO FOR THAT LOOK BUT I WANT TO HAVE MUSCLES IN A FEMININE WAY? PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!

  • @PhillyRoja DO IT ROSA!! Seriously you can totally do this. Don't be afraid. Like Tony says Show up, do your best and forget the rest!

  • Tony Horton where do you buy your shoes! Tony has the best shoes in P90X

  • This works, I have a problem with my ankle "cant run" and I can do most of these workouts. In 40 min, I am soaked with sweat. I workout regularly and P90 is very tough. Its also FUN, which for me makes things interesting...

  • so what if your not normal to start with? im 300lbs looking to lose weight but also gain muscle. is this the right workout? ive seen the transformation videos and all the customers were skinny to begin with...

  • @cloverguy911 Doesn't sound like you should start your fitness journey with P90X. It's not for beginners but you could work up to it. I would need to know some more details and then I could suggest a good Beachbody workout for you. Are you 5.8. 300lbs or 6.9 300 lbs or somewhere in between? There are a lot of factors to consider here. Feel free to contact me is you have questions.
