Me and my brother have tickets to go see Tool at this exact place, on the fourth of February, which is pretty damn cool. Hopefully they'll play this song but I wouldn't bet the farm on it
wtf!!! why doesnt adam play the guitar part with the intro on the album?!?!?!?! thats so fucking catchy, and it goes great with schism, any answeres? lol
"... and you wipe away the tears that you didnt see coming..." that was my first show, and if death had come the next morning, I would have been ready, with a hand shake and a smile. These guys have given so much inspiration, my life is forever changed. Graditude, though no vid will ever give it justice. Graditude.
@lewy666 I'm getting the same comments not only from people here on youtube, but I just got back from a Rasputina show and we met a guy there who had also been to the Charlotte show 7/29/09, and the opinion on the topic seems to be widespread. How amazing THAT show was. Seems even the band has found a new inpiration from the fans and playing old songs. Seen the new set lists?
I've got that! It's only 52 seconds of it because after that I was too excited (I am a drummer, haha) so I watched in awe. Kick ass show! This video is great!
OMG BEST CONCERTT EVER DAMNNN! my favorite songg HELL YEAHHH!! thers this guy with amohawk who was tottaly stoned asked me if i needed weed i was liek fuck no when teh concert finished he was passed out next to a garbage can AHAHAHHAAHH =P
I was so excited that they played so much old stuff, last time I saw them it was mostly stuff off 10,000 Days, not complaining though!! It was well worth the trip to Charlotte!
My 3rd time seeing Tool but, my last time was probably 97'. Fantastic show and the crowd was great except a few punks but, overall AMAZING show. Hopefully Tool is working on that new DVD or even a new album.
hahahaha. I partially agree with you there. But tool is worth it. I live 45 minutes away from Charlotte, and I rarely go up that way because of how horrid it is to drive through the city. Again, this concert was worth the almost nervous breakdown trying to get to the coliseum .
I drove from Elizabethton,TN. to Charlotte to see this show. The worst part of my drive was going through Boone,N.C. Boone is a Collage town with about 10 red lights.
wow thats far yeah my cousin studies in boone HAHAHAH thank god for highways and gps =P it was one of the easiest drives evr we just drove on the interstate for an hour and turned right and we reached bojangles =D
It's about 160 miles,of which the first 100 is on 2 lane highway, over mountains! Once you get to Interstate 77,the last 60 miles is 4 or 6 lanes. Only way from here that is interstate all the way is to go through Ashville,N.C.,which adds about 20-25 miles. Rock on !!!
@1fatpigrat haha, i drove from augusta ga so i feel ur pain lol. it was well worth the drive though. got home at 2 am just to drive hr and a half back to work at 6am.
If they would have played Parabola, or more from Undertow, the show would've been like only slightly more amazing, but that's just because I have my own favorites. So does everyone else, haha. Lateralus definitely got the crowd pumped, it was the only time I saw people around me singing and getting into the show!
hey i dunno why someone gave you a thumbs down, I personally thought that the lateralus drum solo was fucking amazing. wouldnt be surprised if no one posts it though. just out of respect for the sky. heh
