  • Fantastic!

  • Nice Song--very nice.

  • I can remember saving my allowance to buy this record, playing the 45 until it made everyone crazy and then singing it constantly, much to the consternation of the adults around me. I flipped it over and "Brand New Me" absolutely blew me away. Her B-sides were often songs that could have been A-sides. Her voice and her songs inspired me to become a singer.

  • At least one other American artist covered the song: Donna Marie, a New York-based singer, had a "bubbling under" hit with the song. She would go on to bigger success with the Archies. Donna's duet with Ron Dante, "Who's Your Baby?" maxed out at #40

  • THIS should have been a bigger Hit than it was for LESLEY GORE. She does the best version of it - I'm not sure how high this climbed on the pop charts at the time -

  • @JohnnyGNV massiel is unique and the best of all

  • This is a version of the song "La La La", Spain's entry in the EuroVision Contest, which won that year.

The song was covered by many artists. In the United States, Lesley Gore recorded this, and the song was a regional hit. Unfortunately, it never became a major hit, like it should have.

  • I should have mentioned this is the 1968 winning song. Lesley Gore's version also was released by Mercury Records in 1968.

  • but this is a spanish song!!

    thanks!

  • I like it, thanks for posting.
