I did get it. It wasn't particularly hard to get.

But I was also expressing my opinion that she should've done more, and that one simple gesture (in HER case) wasn't enough, considering the fact that she risked HIS career out of selfishness and general bitchiness (that is, she didn't want his boss to overshadow her, she wanted all eyes on her). Her general attitude was that she thinks she can do all that crap and then get away with it by doing just ONE thing for him.

I see what you are saying, but I actually think a key thing about that scene was the secrecy of her actions. She didn't tell him about the TV, he only found out because he grabbed her wedding planner - ie, she wasn't deliberately doing it to make a point, or to 'even the score' so to speak - it was a quiet, 'small' action to act as a metaphor for something more significant, her love for him.
