Bill Kurtis actually anchored the Channel 2 10 o'clock news a couple days last week. Being from Philadelphia and knowing little about Chicago TV history (other than what I saw on YouTube), it was pretty incredible seeing him. I don't believe he's on full-time, but it was still awesome watching that.
Ah, yes, the Kurtis/Jacobson/Porterfield era was the golden age of WBBM Ch. 2 News. I would almost always tune in to watch them when I was in Chicago.

@chairmanofthebored1 No, you mean Kurtis. Bill left back in 1996 and Walter is still at channel 2, he was also on Chicago's Fox32 WFLD.

Impressive Entourage!! A Special 6!! This video promotion was aired back in October 1975. I am quite impressed with the commercial.
