The French do not hate Americans except perhaps George Bush Jr. The history of the relationship between the French and Americans is one of the most complex madeup of many misunderstandings. The French think their old friendship with the USA (we were the 1st to recognize USA and have never been in war with you) gives them the right to say when they feel your government make mistakes. Americans often take this for arrogance and ingratitude.

god bless france, it's people, beautiful, beautiful paris and my personal favorite, the eiffel tower.

i will never forget my visit to paris in the 70's i've been to many places in europe, but paris is still my highlight. beautiful...just beautiful...

from an american who was blessed to have been in paris.

The Eiffel tower is breath taking :O
