i just replaced hubs and ball joints. when doing this make sure you start with lower ball joints. otherwise you will have to take it all apart again. and the stock lower ball joint doesn't have a c clip like the replacement but still comes out of the bottom. didn't find this information anywhere would have saved me quit a bit of time if i'd have known it.
replacing the bearing is very easy on a 02 durango r/t it took less than 1hr. with basic
hand tools . if you don't have an impact gun to take off the half shaft bolt.with the truck still on the ground take the center cap off then pull the cotterpin and cover
off take a 32mm socket and a 24 in breaker bar to remove the nut. to remove the
hub bolts there's 3 of them use a 16 in. 3/8 breaker bar if you have abs remove the
small plate above the abs wire before removing the hub.
Great Video! Doing my half shafts on my Dakota and this gave me the confirmation I needed on getting those Darn Hubs Off! Thanks again for posting it, great work!
As far a what to charge, the prevailing rates are $65 to $95 per hour plus parts and shop supplies (another way to milk more money to the tune of around 10%).
For some folks, the Durango is an ok vehicle. I personally do not like it after seeing how flimsy the front end is built. That is why so many recalls have happened on the Dodge. Then to make matters worse, the put a Hemi in them. Bad move.
Great video and just was surprised at the mentioning of SAFETY!!! Safety is key and you dont see it much these days, i.e. glasses, jack stand. Great Job Guys...

@bert702
Thanks for the addition. Every bit helps us save some time and money. Both are limited resources in my book.

@bert702 What should an '02 Durango be torqued at??

@hichcoc
We used a Chilton or something similar for the torque setting. You would need to look it up in one of those, I do not remember.
