abhishekluvall pleez correct this is a song sung by a Pakistani singer Atif Aslam for an indian film since national language of Pakistan is Urdu therefore this song is an urdu song its not hindi but hindi is very similar to urdu but if u look up in history the initial hindi was very much similar to sanscrit but as years passed urdu gained its name across sub -continent so ppl started speakin half urdu and half hindi in india.whereas urdu is pure language also known as romantic language

friend this beautiful song is sung by Atif but not wrote by him. This songs lyrics by Irshad Kamil an Indian who has a PHD in hindi poetry. And because this song wrote by an indian hence its provenly have Hindi stuff. Hindi and Urdu are the sister languages which worked as a bridge between the people of Sanskrit speakings with Farsi and Arabi speaking people. Thats why urdu mixes arab and hindi vocals and hindi have urdu and sanskrit vocals. Both are not pure but bridging languages...
