  • @DizziNY1 yes yes yes , and have ya heard " A wizzard a true star" ? sgood

  • @SuperNaughtyness Dude, I have most of Todd's work. I have met him like 3 times. I love Todd.

  • one word ...........erotic

  • Mitico Cosmic

  • this song is all about a man and a woman...it makes me wanna...well...you know...

  • i thought it was peter gabriel lol

  • I couldn't say 1 way or another as to the influence this music had on Talk Talk, I will say this...Steve Winwood was a respected Musician LONG before T T ever put out their first song let alone hit. While I really love T T , Winwood is definitely the larger of the 2 And I would even go as far as to say more popular world wide . He's played in Traffic ,Blind Faith ,With Hendrix ( I believe ) And Clapton . What Legendary groups has Hollis played in ? Talk Talk Is not a legendary band .

  • Epic.

  • bellissima ce all inizio del cosmic 28

  • Someone dared to postulate that this song had "substantial" influence on Mark Hollis(Talk Talk) songs on Colour of Spring.

    I am sorry , but I don't sense this.

And I am sensitive on Talk Talk sounds...

Respect to Steve nonetheless... but Mark Hollis is imo worlds larger

  • I have most SW on vinyl - sounds just like I like it.

  • One of the few consummate musicians of this era; songwriter, vocalist, and proficient on every instrument you hear on his albums. On this album "Arc of a Diver" he did it all solo.

  • Beautiful track....Steve is the best....MORE FANTASTIC ´80´s music at my channel!!!!

  • Cool vid reminds me of my kenwood equalizer

  • Arc of a Diver.

Simply one of my all time favorite albums.

  • Damm this is soooo good!!!!!! His best solo record in my opinion!!! Everything you hear is all him!!!

  • So sublime ;-)

  • que bueno! Buenissimo.

  • So good to find this here...

Remember all of Traffic's great stuff? Steve Winwood was so good solo too....

  • A gorgeous song !

  • This sounds great even today... Timeless

  • why is this song so hard to find? its a good song

  • Steve Winwood is a multi-talented genius.

  • Truly one of music's most underated and underexposed geniuses.

  • @ava610 True, but he is reasonably famous, has certainly been well regarded, and, to some extent at least, he has been revered by those true, genuine fans of rock, pop-rock, even more blues-based music; perhaps especially those who consider the greatest keyboardists, vocalists, and even multi-instrumentalists in rock music, in blues-based music, in pop-rock music.

  • @ava610 Only if ya weren't paying attention- this whole time...

  • @ava610 In 2008, Rolling Stone magazine ranked Winwood #33 in its 100 Greatest Singers of All Time.

  • i've always loved this winwood song from 'arc of a diver'...this was my favorite track

  • My favourite song too, unquestionably. It was really the driving force for me to buy the album. Mike Sparrow of Radio London (RIP) played it a lot - good for him!. I suppose (with hindsight) there are kindred/hybrid elements of Vangelis Bladerunner (or "Dervish D") intertwining hint of Stevie Wonders "Superstition" clavinet. Most hypnotic - some swinging/badass fretless bass playing on this track too. Well funky. Relatively an infant period for programmable synth electronics but a beautiful one.

  • He puts on a great concert; w/classy scenic stage back drops, excellent band muscians/vocal soul-singers.

    Cool & sophisticated audience.

  • I agree - so cool, thanks...

  • One of my all time favorites from him, along with "Arc of a Diver."

  • The only musician on the album "Arc of a Diver" was . . . Steve Winwood. Amazing artist.

  • exceptional song, sadly, spanish speaking people in general do not dance to this song, since most have'nt heard it,in my country for instance, the few people that know steve remember him for "Valerie" or"Back in the high life",I have dj friends that play this kind of music,I'll propose this sing so things change a bit around here...cheers...

  • Great sound, great audio!!! I heard this played only once on a smooth jazz radio station. Never heard it there again...now I'm so glad I found this song again! Love it! Thanks for posting!!

  • Bellissimo . Si ballava al BIG NEPHENTA di TORINO . Veniva mixato con GENERIQUE di CERRONE.

  • I first heard this song on Steve's box set, "The Finer Things"; This was one of my favorites by him. I wonder if Spanish people ever dance to this song. It fits, right?

  • Thanks...that was well fine! So fine...maybe you had to be there...but imcomparable.

  • Makes me think of cindy and the sumer of 1982

  • One of my favorites of all time! Great track. Thanks a bunch for posting. God bless!

  • The first time i heard it was when i bought that album for a buck a few years ago.I've never heard this song on any radio station here in Canada. They should be ashamed of themselves.

  • FANTASTIC

  • Thanks. I have really been wanting to hear this.

  • Hello, Exutuberejectee, You have great hearing for music, and thanks for posting this. Sure, I have the album and enjoyed listening to it when a few (26?) years ago, but it's good to have on the YouTube. And back then I was thinking of being a student of art, and with all this great music from Winwood, and the Talking Heads, others, it was fun at least.

  • I've loved his music eversince he was in Traffic. He always made sure, there's a great or beautiful tune and a good beat in his songs.

  • Great song!!Thanks for posting!

  • i really like it.
